For my project today, I’ve used three products from Whimsy Stamps: Donut Birthday rubber stamp, Straight Edgers metal die and the Farmhouse Basket stencil. Be warned, this is a dangerous stamp, let me tell you! Not only was it fun to color but it also left me craving donuts. LOL This one is on my list for a movement type card so be on the look out for a second project soon. ;D

Bunny Found One
Welcome to Day 3 of the Whimsy Stamps March release week countdown. We have some more adorable images to share with you today, ones that are perfect for spring and Easter. Today I have a project that shows Bunny Found One and Farmhouse Shiplap Background.
Although, it’s difficult to see the background stamp – I thought the color I chose would show up more then I ended up covering most of that paper anyway. I goofed when I stamped the Bunny Found One and didn’t press evenly to get a full impression so that’s why the daffodil flower is missing – but waste not want not and I strategically placed a gem and movement lines where it showed up the most. Lost of mistakes but I pressed on and you wouldn’t have really noticed if I didn’t spill the beans.
I then colored it using my Prismacolor pencils on soft Balsa wood. I colored it in rainbow colors similar to the Ty plush toys that we have so many of around the house. Then since the bunny was so colorful, I changed the egg to be a chocolate egg. The sentiment is Make it Crafty a chipboard embellishment.
Shaker Maker
It’s the March Release week of posts for Whimsy Stamps. All new products are available now but each day we’ll showcase different products. Today we are showcasing several new clear stamps, 1 rubber background stamp, 2 new stencils and 3 standalone dies today.
For my card, I used the Shaker Maker metal die which comes with two shaker frames plus a part that makes the confetti. It’s a versatile die that can be used for more than just shaker cards too. I chose to go with bright and bold papers then I filled the shaker component with coordinating colors and little Fimo bees.
Monster Birthday
Happy cupcake day! This little cupcake and monster are ready to celebrate someone’s birthday. But I don’t think I can let it go just yet as it’s sitting on my desk for a bit. Lucky I don’t need one right now.
For my project I’ve used Monster Birthday from Whimsy Stamps. The card is pretty basic but it’s very colorful. I think it will make a cheery greeting. Hope you have a sunshiny day and thanks for stopping by my blog.
From Me to You
Happy Heart Day! For my project today, I used the rubber stamp From Me to You from Whimsy Stamps. I finally found the right image and use for the background paper with the paper airplanes. It’s been sitting on my desk for a while but just hasn’t quite fit into anything. I like how it turned out with this image because of the way her hair is drawn it looks like there is a slight breeze to the scene.
Here are the Copic markers I used on From Me to You:
Autumn Happiness
Happy Valentines day, early! I have a fun project to share today using Autumn Happiness which I converted from an autumn theme to a Valentine theme. I did this by stamping the image in light pink so I could color over the leaves and change the shape. I also added a few Wee accessory stamps in light gray – which is also easy to color over.
I first stamped Autumn Happiness in light pink. Then in light gray, I stamped the two accessory Wee stamps which came as a gift for placing an order. They were so cute, I wanted to add them to something and this guy’s tail was a perfect perch. From this point, I started to color the leaves in heart shapes.
After I colored some hearts over the larger leaves, then I colored the rest by filling it in with smaller leaves. Lastly, I added some white accents and started to color the rest of the image. I even added a little creative color placement on the tail and carried the white stripe around from his belly.
