Lead the Way

I’ve had a little fun this week and was able to do some coloring.  This cutie is “Lead the Way” by Sugar Nellie.  I’ve had the sentiment paper on my desk and thought this was a good image to go with it.  The L-O-V-E wax seal is just that – I melted some wax from a sealing kit and pressed the L-O-V-E metal stamp into it.  The first one I did it nearly ruined my project so I learned from that and melted the wax on parchment paper.  Then when it was cooled down I moved it over to my project and glued it down.  So it’s more of a faux seal but the creation was real.  LOL

A Gift for You

The challenge this week over at Lollipop Crafts is a 1-2-3 Recipe and to make something using 1 decorative paper, 2 stamps and 3 embellishments. But today is also a special post because we are celebrating a surprise birthday…

Happy Birthday Kim Yu!

We all hope you have a wonderful birthday today and with lots of R&R. 😀

I made this card using A Gift for You from Sugar Nellie Stamps plus a bear from P. Hillman. I saw a wonderful card created by Kim (PaperBabe) and had to try one out, so that is how this layout came about. I also colored the dress following the Color Copic Me coloring clothes tutorial and used fall colors for the Teddy challenge.

Did you know? Roll-on/roll-off ferries (RORO) are large, conventional ferries named for the ease by which vehicles can board and leave by driving stright in and straight out.
