From Me to You

Happy Heart Day! For my project today, I used the rubber stamp From Me to You from Whimsy Stamps. I finally found the right image and use for the background paper with the paper airplanes. It’s been sitting on my desk for a while but just hasn’t quite fit into anything. I like how it turned out with this image because of the way her hair is drawn it looks like there is a slight breeze to the scene.

The sentiment is Make it Crafty chipboard embellishment.

The paper is Echo Park Head Over Heels.

The shirt is paper pieced and the hearts on the envelope are done with a white gel pen. On the face, I added a small toothy grin as that spot was empty. I thought this would bring out a sweet little girl expression which was the age group I was aiming for. So I used very little red on her cheeks too.
