Naughty Puppies

I haven’t added anything in my ATC journal for a while but I grabbed it off the shelf and did a quick page using Naughty Puppies from Whimsy Stamps. I also used the Basic Stitched Oval Dies set from Whimsy Stamps. I like making these pages because I can rip one out and send it in a package or use it as a bookmark. They’re great for swaps at craft events too!

These are the Copic markers I used on Naughty Puppies:
C0, 1, 2, 4
Y32, YR30, 31, 24
YG21, 63
W6, 8, BV23
E29, 30, 31, 35

This and other Whimsy Stamps are available at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

Swings ‘n Slides Snuggles

We’ve had some unusual weather this week and, to my kids’ delight, had a couple extra days of no school!  So we’ve been lounging around in our PJs and kicking back.  That has inspired me to share this ATC Journal card I created – the image is Swings ‘n Slides Snuggles from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored this one using Prismacolor Pencils. I didn’t have any papers to help me coordinate the colors so I’m not so sure of what I came up with.  That’s gotta happen every once in a while, I suppose!  Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy it and thanks for visiting.

Birthday Daisies

Gorgeous Flowers Blooming just for you!  Happy New Year! We hope you have had a wonderful time over the holidays and wish you an amazing 2015!

You should have arrived here from the incredible ZOE!
But if you get lost you can start at the beginning HERE.

Today we are excited to be sharing a new release of beautifully illustrated flower stamps from Make it Crafty. They are intricate and delicate with lots of detail and are the perfect choice for many occasions. These gorgeous new flowers are available in both digital and rubber and the rubber stamps also come with a hand written sentiment, which of course you could use between all the different flowers.

For my project I’ve used Birthday Daisies and created a page in my trading card journal.  I first started with distress inks and tried to go for a watercolor look.  However since my watercolor skills are about as good as my karate skills it went about as well as I expected.  So I dragged out my Prismacolor pencils to save the image.

Your next stop on the hop is the talented KAY!
But if you get lost you can find the complete hop at Make it Crafty HERE.
Good luck!

Skelekinz Pumpkin

Happy Halloween Eve to everyone out there and whether you celebrate Halloween or not perhaps this cutie with a pumpkin will be right down your favorite spooky alley!  I’ve used Skelekinz Pumpkin rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps on this project and created a page in my trading card journal.  This one has all my favorite embellishments lately including the spiders (from a mini punch), the wood sentiment and a bat charm (that I clipped off the loop).  Scruff up the edges and add some doodles and it’s complete!  Thanks for dropping by and I hope you enjoy this bit of inspiration.

Fancy Sunbonnet Patriotic Flag – Switzerland

The challenge at Little Miss Muffet Challenges this round is about making your project small, as small as an artist trading card (ATC) or even smaller.  This is the perfect opportunity to pull out my ATC Journal!  For this project I’ve used Fancy Sunbonnet Patriotic Flag (with a blank flag) and the new Marine Creek Door Metal Die from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

The flag on this image is actually blank and can be colored any way.  I’m going to be fortunate enough to go to Switzerland this year so I’ve gone for the red and white.  😀  Behind her is the new metal die door at LMMS which can be configured several ways.

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you’ll play along with us this challenge!

Swings ‘n Slides Little Miss Christmas

Here’s another page I’ve added to my ATC Journal book, this time using Swings ‘n Slides Little Miss Christmas in a Christmas theme, of course.  This is a rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps

The image was colored using Copic markers then cut out and popped on the project.  The papers in the background are from a Christmas themed stack and I was lukcy enough to have some ribbon to match.  I think ribbon was very “IN” a while ago because I seem to have a huge quantity!  LOL  Now I hardly use it so it feels good to use some of my stash once in a while.  😀

The rest of the page was decorated with a paper doily (thank you Faye!), some metal snowflakes and a few chipboard corners (from Make it Crafty).  Lastly, I tied a little piece of string at the top of the ribbon to keep all those layers together.  I wasn’t sure if the layers of ribbon would show up in the picture but it turned out ok.  😀  I hope you enjoy this project and thanks for coming by to check it out!
