My project was inspired again by Annabel and her awesome knitting pattern which I colored again on this Moose. This is Merry Moose-mas from Whimsy Stamps. I colored the scarf and hat originally in Copic markers but wasn’t able to get the details I was looking for. So I then went over it with Prismascolor pencils and brought back in the details.

Beaver
This is Beaver which is a DoveArt for Whimsy rubber stamp. In the background I used the Farmhouse Shiplap Background from a previous project that I deconstructed and recycled. I normally don’t do that but I couldn’t resit pairing it up with the Beaver. The leaves are Make it Crafty chipboard embellishments and colored them green and helped enhance the outdoor woodsy theme.
Ice Cream Penguin
Here’s my second project for the release this month show casing the Ice Cream Penguin. I’ve had some rainbow paper hanging around my desk that I has been begging to be used. I tried it on a previous project but it didn’t work out so well. But I tried it again and it became the basis of my color choices. Anyone want some rainbow sherbet?
Splash
This week Whimsy Stamps is show casing all the new releases for this month. For my project, I’m using Splash clear stamp and the Making Waves stencil. This is on a little note card that I cut out using the Card Builder Windows die set. I used Distress Ink on the stencils in two colors to make the waves plus I also stamped the clouds in the same color.
Zebras
I saw these Zebras and knew I wanted to go for a rainbow theme. This stamp is a DoveArt for Whimsy rubber stamp and even though you might think of zebras being black and white, this stamp is actually very versatile. You can color them any which-way!
Naughty Puppies
This is a window little card I created using Naughty Puppies by Whimsy Stamps. I’ve also used the Card Builders Window Die set from Whimsy Stamps. Some of my projects lately have included some cherry wood veneer paper I found on Amazon. It’s actually wood veneer! It’s so thin that it mostly cuts and bends like paper. It’s been fun to use.
