Sugar ‘n Spice Dolls Chili Pepper as Frankenstein

This is my Frankenstein creation – complete and alive on a card.  I thought it would be fun to use the Lawn Fawn Polaroid stamp.  Frankenstein was created from Sugar ‘n Spice Dolls Chili Pepper from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  For a limited time, you can get that stamp for free and give it a try yourself.  Muah ha ha ha

There were a lot of conversions on this stamp . . . first the arm was amputated and the shirt decal was removed before I printed it out.  (P.S. Check the TOU before you do this to your digital stamp as some companies don’t allow this.  You are free to do this with a LMMS stamp just as long as you still give credit to LMMS.)

For coloring, I converted the eyeglasses to thick eye brows then added large stitching and neck bolts fitting for a Frankenstein.  Lastly, I added the tears in the shirt and colored a striking background.  (Oh yes, pun intended.  LOL).  This are all fun to do and hope you can give it a try too.  Have some fun!

Funny Faces

Say cheese!  When I first laid eyes on the Roberto’s Rascals this was one of the first images I saw and immediately fell in love.  They’re just like my kids!  I can’t get a straight face out of them unless I threaten something fearce and then I risk the chance of getting a sad face.  LOL  But that’s why they invented digital cameras … 100 pictures… 1 good mug shot!  Yep, that’s how it is now days.  🙂

This project uses Funny Faces from Roberto’s Rascals and also the instant camera in Say Cheese from Lawn Fawn (plus sentiment and smilie face).  I colored it using the sparkly Curious Metallic Cryogen White paper and my Copic markers.  The papers are from all over the place but the dragonflies are Make it Crafty chipboard embellishments that I painted with sparkle paint.  I love those little guys!  Lastly are two corduroy buttons.

I had fun with this project!  Thanks for dropping by and I hope you had a great weekend!

Seductive Barb

I wanted to share the details of my challenge project for this month and is one that I’ve enjoyed very much.  It has a little bit of everything to keep me happy… coloring, character, background and chippies. LOL Plus working with browns was the added bonus!

For this project I pulled out the journal and added another page.  I also combined it with the Australian Day challenge and a lifelong dream of mine… I’m sure putting it all together will easily reveal that I want to be Seductive Barb visiting Zoe in Australia.  🙂

I hope this inspired you and come on over to join the Make it Colourful challenge this month!

Everyday Emo Christian

It’s the first week in August and that means another challenge at Simply Challenged Challenges and today I’m the hostess of this challenge!  I picked something that I desperately need in my stash at all times…boy teen birthday cards! LOL  However, for the actual theme it’s “Birthday for a Teen!” We want to see your birthday creations with a teen in mind. 😀

For my project I used Everyday Emo Christian from Simply B Stamps and also the Say Cheese set from Lawn Fawn. This was my first time using the polaroid frame and I really like how it turned out. It changes all the smooth round lines from a diecut into a blockish look which is suited best for boy cards.

Now that I have this finished and added to my box… I have about three weeks before it will get used and I’ll be back at square one with none! LOL Hmmm… it always happens that way, doesn’t it?! Anyway, thanks for dropping by and I hope you’re having a fantastic summer!
