These literary mice are at it again, typing poems for those they care about. Last week I had bookmarks to share and from that I expanded and also created a card using the same theme. However, with the card being larger, I was able to include more of the accessory stamps.
I used the same colors and supplies as the bookmarks so I only had to grab a few extra things to complete this. The poem itself, is very long. In addition to not rhyming, I thought that would be humorous when pulling it out, and out and out even more.
I didn’t want to add so many new colors so when I did the background, I kept with the brown from the mice and the gray/white from the paper.
I didn’t show the whole poem, but there are three more segments. The pull tab goes all the way down to the bottom of the card when it’s inserted all the way. To do this allusion, I assembled it with two layers of foam in between and then cut the slit all the way down to the 2nd to last layer (but not the base)
