Emma & Mia

Welcome to another preview of Little Miss Muffet Stamps! Today I’m featuring two of the newest Wee Ones… Emma and Mia who are rocking out in my latest journal page! Come on over and check out all the other inspiration of these newest releases at the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog too. ;D

I used papers from DCWV and cut out cork starts from My Favorite Things Die-namics dies then proceeded to jazz it up with green gems and sticker tiaras. Yeah baby!!

I’ve noticed lately all of my journal pages have faux stitching around the outside edge and some sort of ribbon or horizontal line. I think in my mind this provides a stable balance to work on so I’ve got to start getting more creating with those elements! LOL Any ideas? Hope you like the project and all the New Releases from this week. Ciao!

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Ava

This is release week for Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I wanted to feature my favorite from today! This is Ava and is one I drew while at the park with my daughters… and she, like my youngest daughter, enjoys the toddler swing very much!

I’m starting to discover a fetish I have for clouds and even yesterday at the scrapbook store I bought a whole paper pad just for the cloud paper in it! Yes, it’s true! So naturally I went home and used some cloud paper and created this fun card. Oh, and paper with words on it too if you haven’t noticed lately. LOL

I kept this card simple and used a plain silk ribbon, gems and Make it Crafty chippies to finish it up. It all came together rather quickly which is nice to have happen once in a while. ;D So I hope you enjoyed this tidbit of inspiration and you can head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog to catch some more New Release projects!

Annie’s Prezzie

This is a project I made for a class I was teaching at my church group. I had three cards that they made with three different techniques – this one was more simplified for the class and didn’t include the chippies or image and I was demonstrating that a card without an image is just as fun. ;D I only cautioned them on which page from the dictionary they ripped out.

After the class was finished I added the image and chippies to finish the card with an extra touch. The image I used is Annie’s Prezzie from Tiddly Inks and the chippies are from Make it Crafty. I kept with a basic color scheme of the paper then added purple as a coordinating color which also tied in the flower.

The class was successful and the gals learned the basics of card making and a variety of simple techniques. The other two cards that we made were Riley and From the Desk Of that I previously posted.

Finally this is another card that my daughter created and she we wanted to enter it into the Simon Says Stamp Summer Holiday Kids Challenge for this month. Lydia used the image Adela and Dida Inventing from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and created everything on her own. Enjoy!

All Our Yesterdays Seahorse

It’s a new challenge at My Sheri Crafts and this time I was asked to be a guest. ;D This week the theme is to create a bookmark or book covers and I created another page in my journal which would also be perfect for a summer journal cover!

I used a new image that I couldn’t resist getting… Joanna Sheen : Faye Whittaker “All Our Yesterdays Seahorse.” I had some braids to two of the girls when I colored them and a few extra strands on the oldest girl but kept everything else the same. Then I placed it in front of the Tropical Beach from Make it Crafty.

This is actually the first page in my new journal so it really is fitting. I used a few extra things I had around for embellishments including Martha Stewart taffy stickers, Stampin’ Up! Magic Mesh (wow, isn’t that old!), some gems and another awesome felt sun created from My Favorite Things Die-namics Sunshine die.

Thanks Sheri for selecting my card as a winner as asking me to be a guest. It’s always fun to meet new people and I enjoyed creating this page. ;D

I’m a guest designer at My Sheri Crafts Blog for this challenge!

Zoe Celebrating

It’s another challenge at Make it Colourful and we have an easy one for you this week! Seriously… it really IS easy! LOL Here it is, we want to see your favorite pink combination or even a new pink combination…. basically, you just need to “Colour with Pink!” See? That wasn’t so bad … you can stop holding your breath now.

For my card I used Zoe Celebrates from Make it Crafty plus Round Leaves and Love Heart Swirls chippies. I wanted to use a new combination so for the hair I combined RV11, RV34, RV17, RV19 and RV69. I liked how it turned out but then couldn’t help using a favorite pink combination on the clothes too… so I slipped in some R20, R21 and R22 on the pants and shoes.

The image was so much fun to color – just look at all that hair! I got a little carried away and forgot about where my light source originates from so don’t look too closely. LOL So let’s see what color of pink you color with and join the fun. ;D

Our challenge is sponsored by Bunny Zoe’s Crafts and Nikki she is giving away a £10 gift certificate too! Click on the blinkie below to check it all out. ;D

Sugar

It’s another challenge at Little Miss Muffet Challenges and this week we have an interesting challenge for you – we want to have your image go “outside the diecut!” What does that mean? Well, if you read my post from yesterday then you got a sneak peek! ;D

On this project I used Sugar from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Seventeen for the die. I stamped and colored my image first then placed my diecut on top to get the position. Then before sending it through the cutting press I cut around the parts I wanted to keep and flipped them on the top.

I love this technique and I think it fills out the card nicely without taking up the whole front. We have lots of inspiration to look at so make sure you head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and take a gander! 😀 Happy Coloring!
