Chili Pepper

We’re on our second day of releases for Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I took the opportunity to create another boy card!  This project uses Chili Pepper which is one of the six digi stamps that were released today!!  Most of the boy cards I send out are used in the early part of the year so I’ll be stocking up for the rest of the year, hopefully.  LOL

The chipboard key was covered with acrylic paint and I also added some metal embellishments from my stash.  The little Graphic45 buttons were a gift from Arabella and I couldn’t wait to use them!  She was sneaky and added them to a package that arrived just a while ago.  😀  Thanks Arabella!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get a chance to visit the LMMS Blog to see all the other wonderful creations that the design team has created – they’ve done a fabulous job showing off these new images!  They’re the best! 😀

Monster Nom-Nom

Now available in rubber!  I have released eight new rubber stamps over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and will be retiring their digi counterparts this week – so if your a rubber stamp lover, then run over and if your a digi stamp lover, then run over too!  😀  Check out What’s New or visit the LMMS Blog for details on the retiring digis and also to see the latest winner!!

For my project I used Monster Nom-Nom in rubber stamp form from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and the sentiment is also from LMMS!  For a limited time, one of two sentiment stamps will be included with any order including these new releases – they are “Good Times” and “CELEBRATE”.

I loved coloring his feet this time around and may have to draw up another monster or two just featuring the feet!  LOL  Another fun thing I did was paper peice the heart instead of coloring it in.  It add a lot more to the image since it’s a larger area and I went in with T0 and T2 to add some shadowing.  Hope you enjoyed this little monster and be sure to come back tomorrow for even more new releases!  *Hugs

Ho’ohau’oli Makamae

Most of my scrapbook pages are rather… well, scrap-ish, but once in a while I like to spend a little more time and try to coordinate a spread.  I don’t consider myself the most fanciest or best but I at least have it done and can add it to my books.  Ho’ohau’oli Makamae loosely translated is Joyous Darling in the Hawaiian language.

This is a page of my littlest bean, Amelia, and are the pictures they take at the hospital before coming home. The dress is an heirloom and was one of my own dresses when I was a wee one. It was given to me by my Grandma Wall. Now, I was a couple pounds smaller when I was born but the neck line was large enough to still fit Amelia. 😀 My Mom had saved three pink outfits that are all similar to this one so each of my daughters were taken in one and they will be passed down to them when they’re grown up.

Sonny Honeycloud Poetry

Can you believe it’s Monday already??  Ok for some of you it’s possible because you’re half way through your day… but this weekend just flew past me so quickly that I hardly had time to breath.  It was a good weekend, however, and included lots of shopping!!  Plus I was able to steel away a few moments to ready a book and start the next one in the series.  😀

For my project today I’ve used Sonny Honeycloud Poetry from Little Miss Muffet Stamps drawn by Pollycraft and reading is one of my favorite themese!!  So if you notice I’ve even added a Label for reading called “… be a Bookworm” and you can click on that have all sorts of reading influences and inpsiration flooding your screen.  Besides, I’ve got to do everything I can to promote reading to my kids and they really admire out time crafting together so these are just a few subtles ways that I can sneak that in.  Sneaky, sneaky!!

You’ll want to be sure to visit the LMMS Blog today and se some other great inspiration from the Project Team!  Plus I have some fun news to share… I’m officially on FaceBook!  I’m still not as savvy as I should be but I’ve setup a group for Little Miss Muffet Stamps so come on over and pop in to say “Hi!”  Just click on the image below and you’ll be taken right to it…

Thanks for dropping by and I hope your week has started off wonderfully!  It’s mid summer where I am and we got a little rain today that was perfect and it almost reminded me of spring and autumn (my two favorite seasons) and I hope that tomorrow we’ll get a little more.  😀

Pirate Maxine

We’re opening up another challenge at Simply Challenged Challenges today and the theme is Summer Fun!  The DT have featured images from the Funky Pirates at Simply Betty Stamps and have given their project a warm summery feel to them.  For my project I used Pirate Maxine which is one of my favorites in that line and I used some bright oranges to set the tone.

This image was so fun to color and I even got out my E4 Copic marker and added sharp lines.  I’m getting comfortable with the technique enough that I’ll probably do it on all my images (when I remember) since I like how the shadows turn out.  And did you notice my new watermark?  Betty put that together for me – thanks Betty!!  😀

I kept the card simple today but I made sure to add lots and lots of jewels!!  That’s what every girl needs, right?  LOL  Be sure to check out the rest of the team’s inspirational projects at the SCC Blog and let’s see what you Summer Fun projects you can come up with!!

Penny Farthing

The challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps this fortnight is to create a project that is round or circle in shape!  We want to see you get out of the square box and go for something round.  😀  Do you think you can do it?  However, the good news is IF you’re using a LMMS then you can still create anything you want.  Tricky!  😀

For my project I used the Penny Farthing from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and a few of my Nestability diecuts to create the card.  It was actually a really quick card to put together once I had the image colored and the papers selected.  Then the accessories were just borrowed from the desk – the best place for little scraps.  LOL

Right now I’m watching the movie Arrietty and I just love the part where she is walking through the house for the first time for her first borrowing!  I can totally imagine all that stuff happening in my walls – so fun.  😀  Anyway, be sure to check out the LMM Challenge blog for everyone’s projects for this challenge – they’re fantastic!!  Thanks for stopping by.
