It’s here… and it’s nearly here! Today is Friday the 13th and tomorrow is Valentine’s day – I thought that was such a fun combination to work with that I created this card! Oh’yeah! On this card I used Skelekinz Love rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I colored her in sweet Valentine colors and went with a more normal look than my previous attempt with the same stamp. I love this one so much better – I feel redeemed! LOL I also used the Birds on a Wire metal die from Little Miss Muffet Stamps in the background. I hope you you’ve been inspired and thanks for dropping by today. 😀

Ladybug Garden
There is a new challenge starting on the LMMS Blog and the theme is Anything Goes – a perfect challenge and excuse to share your projects. 😀
For my project, I used the Ladybug Garden in rubber available at Little Miss Muffet Stamps. Even though this isn’t a Valentine’s image, I couldn’t resist getting some pink and reds out to create another card for this weekend! I’ve actually colored this image twice! And no, you haven’t seen the other one before… after coloring most of it, I lost it. It’s still somewhere between my car and craft room! LOL Some day it will turn up and then I’ll have a chance to make another one “just like this one”. He he he
Fancy Sunbonnet Love
I’ve been having fun with all the Valentine colors this week and surprised myself with another project! This one uses Fancy Sunbonnet Love rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I couldn’t resist coloring the package a kraft color, all ready to be shipped! I also used another medallion that I created with some white sealing wax and a metal L-O-V-E press. The letters were also made which I go into details a little further down. Hope you like it and thanks for coming by today! *Hugs
I created the letters using air-dry clay and a flexible mold. After shaping the clay in the mold, I allowed it to try and pressed them out. To give them some color, I used my Copic markers to color the letters blue. Then for some sparkle, I used some Art Anthology stuff to goop on. After that stuff dried clear, I was able to glue the letters to my project – and that’s the story! They turned out better than I thought. 😀
Valentines Bear
Ever since I added the Mason Jar to the LMMS store, I’ve wanted to use it on another project. I found Valentines Bear which was the perfect size to hide in there. Even though it’s a Valentine’s image, I wanted to go with a more generic color pallet. So this one was inspired by my daughter’s kangaroo toy, which is teal with a pink flowered belly. I selected a non-Valentines paper pad, this one was Simple Stories Vintage Bliss. It worked well with what I had in mind. After I finished coloring the bear and jar, I tried to add sparkles on the glass with a white pen but I don’t think that worked out very well so I tried to cover one with a gem. LOL Lastly, I used some lace, ribbon, gems and Make it Crafty chipboard for embellishments. …and that’s how this project came to be. Hope you like it and thanks for dropping by my blog today. 😀

Lead the Way
I’ve had a little fun this week and was able to do some coloring. This cutie is “Lead the Way” by Sugar Nellie. I’ve had the sentiment paper on my desk and thought this was a good image to go with it. The L-O-V-E wax seal is just that – I melted some wax from a sealing kit and pressed the L-O-V-E metal stamp into it. The first one I did it nearly ruined my project so I learned from that and melted the wax on parchment paper. Then when it was cooled down I moved it over to my project and glued it down. So it’s more of a faux seal but the creation was real. LOL
