I’ve been playing around with the Cutters Baggie ‘n Tag metal die and came up with this mini creation. And this tag has it all! This one uses the packaging from the Birdie rubber stamp so I didn’t color it – and it made it a fast make too. I also used some other Cutters to create the scene… Balloons, Grass Border and Say What? metal dies. Yeah…. it was a fun project! The Balloons where cut out in white and then I colored them with my markers so I was able to sneak in a little coloring time. LOL Lastly I stamped the “Make a WISH” sentiment from the Birthday Sentiments stamp. I love how the tag turned out but the funnest part was putting the strings on the balloons. 😉

Sunbonnet Fireman’s Puppy
I had so much fun coloring my last project that I decided to color another one, this one being Sunbonnet Fireman’s Puppy. I also used some accessory stamps… Cupcakes ‘n Books (just the books but double stamped) and Birthday Sentiments. This time I colored the fireman with blues and yellows for a little mix up.
This was a quick simple boy’s card and I like that the sentiment can be interpreted different way. The dragonflies are chipboard embellishments from Make it Crafty – always a favorite of mine! Thanks for dropping by again and have a great weekend!
Sunbonnet Fireman’s Fire Hose
I created this project for the Anything Goes Challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps! It truly is Anything Goes and we love to see what you create. 😀
That little boy is Sunbonnet Fireman’s Fire Hose rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. He was so much fun to color and gave me a good excuse to use lots of red. Because it was a boy card, I tried to keep the embellishments simple and not so fru-fru. The dragonflies are on the border of that since their wings are lacy but the theme was appropriate for a boy so hopefully it works.
I actually made a little mistake while coloring this one up. Can you see it? I’ll give you a hint… I fixed it digitally on the square-on project so you can only see it in the second photo. Do you see it now? Yep, it’s there. But it’s one of those things that if I hadn’t pointed it out you’d never would have seen it. Those are the best kinds of mistakes. LOL
Here’s a bit of something extra that might be fun for you or someone you know. This is our rock collection that my daughter started on one of our cross-country road trips. We were traveling over the Rocky Mountains and noticed all the different colors of soil. So on our way back, we stopped at various places and collected a gamut of samples.
Our most recent sample is the dark reddish one which we collected while visiting New Mexico. We’ve also been able to add a few to the collection from donations – such as the fossils. This has been a fun activity!
Thanks for dropping by my blog today and I hope you have a wonderful week. Make sure to add one of your projects this week into the Anything Goes Challenge and share what you’ve been up to!
Polka Dot Pals Danielle
Get ready, I have a project for you to drool over! How do I know… cuz I’m drooling too. LOL This is the Linking Train scene I created last week and have put it on a journaling page. It allowed me to use a slightly larger surface and also fit the linear size a bit better. And true to form… I’ve added everything but the kitchen sink to the page. Beaming!
I’ve normally skipped out on an extensive supplies list but this one needs it! Let’s see if you can spot everything (and hopefully I didn’t leave anything off either.)
Fancy Sunbonnet Easter
Happy Easter Weekend! It’s a wonderful spring week where I’m at and we’re enjoying all the usual festivities of spring including gardening, playing outside and visiting with family. 🙂
For this project I’ve used Fancy Sunbonnet Easter rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I stamped it three times so I could color portions and make it 3D. I forgot what this technique is called but I know it has a name. LOL I had colored the image with out choosing my papers first for coordinating colors. So when it came time to putting a card together I was holding my breath whilst searching for a match. He he he
I hope everyone is having a great weekend and thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. Happy Easter!
Himalayan Poppy
Gasp! You wont believe it but I cheated on this project! LOL I know, I know, cheating is bad so we’re just going to call this a “shortcut” instead. He he he
After receiving the Himalayan Poppy rubber stamp (available at Little Miss Muffet Stamps, ahem), I saw how gorgeous Jennifer colored the sample on the product label. So I decided to use that and create this card! I’ve done this with The Greeting Farm before (click HERE to see). How could I let that go to waste? So I selected a metal die that fit the best and designed the rest of the card around it. I even used some Make it Crafty chipboard embellishments (the bird) and the new C.C. Designs Cutters Music Border Die that I got! (Also available in the LMMS shop, just saying.)
Hope you enjoy this project and that it gives you some ideas! Thanks for stopping by.
