Creepin’ Crew Monday

This is my last project as a guest at The Greeting Farm and I’ve had so much fun.  Thank you so much!  For this project, I decided I would use Creepin’ Crew Monday and do a winter project. I’m a fan of Chris‘ work and fell in love with one of her projects she made earlier this year.  The style was unique and I wanted to try it out so this project is a CAS as a tribute.

I colored Monday with Copic markers first and used these colors:
E30, 31, 57
YR65, R05, 17, 29, 39
W3, 6
BV23
Since I was working on non-standard coloring paper, I didn’t want to mess it up with the marks bleeding so I colored the base quickly.  Afterwards I brought out the Prismacolor Pencils and did a little touch up and the eyes.  I wasn’t able to get the white as white as I wanted, so I used a white gel pen and some gesso for the hair and snow.

The background paper is a decorative paper that I stamped the skull on with red.  The skull is acutely part of the CC Sweet & Toxic stamp that has been retired.  It made a nice background for Monday. Lastly I added some twine and and a charm to make it a little different from Chris’ snowman project.  Thanks Chris for the inspiration!
