Today is my day to post on The Greeting Farm blog and I’ve been working on some tags for the holiday season to be used with gift cards. I started out with the Cutters Baggies and Tags metal die from CC Designs then began adding stuff to it. For this post, I’m going to focus on the red one … “you’re something special.”
The image I used is one of the girls from Miss Anya Hats Off from The Greeting Farm. This girl is a sitting gal so I also used the chair from Cozy Cafe from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I fussy cut around the images to merge them instead of masking them when I stamped. I was doubting myself about the fussy cutting when I started cutting out the decorative part of the chair. It was luck that I started on the left side because I was able to give up when I got around the top. LOL They’re both mounted with foam so they stick out from the card for some dimension.
For the outside envelope, I found an older TGF sentiment which worked well for the occasion. I loved how Marika used a bunch of different ribbons on her project so I followed suit. Then I tied them all together with baker’s twine. I also used the same twine for the outside of the envelope.
Super card, fabulous colouring. Thank you for joining in with us at Crafty Ann's and Rainbow Lady's this week.Jen x

Lovely card. Only raising part of an image is fun. I do it alot with flowers that have individual petalscut out.-But they are still flat and attached at the center. Thanks for the great chance to win. Tuques and Beanies eh?. My cousin from Australia called my \”tuque\” a \”beanie\” once. Apparently there are no tuques in Australia.LOL. Beanies are popular in Ski Resort towns. Stylish and cover your helmet head from a long day at the hill. LOL.-Used to live in one.
