OA – Fuzzy Wuzzy – Amelia

I’m excited to share with you this winter project that I made with a Greeting Farm set.  This is Amelia from the Fuzzy Wuzzy set and was a “must” on my list . . . well, that’s according to my daughter.  Since she shares the same name, she insisted and wouldn’t let me pick another.  LOL. Of course, I was happy to oblige!

It was easy to decide to go for a winter theme but the colors I picked out originally were brown, red and green.  At last minute I changed plans and grabbed some blue and gray colored papers from the Oh, Deer paper pad from Fancy Pants. It’s not one of my favorite paper pads but I’ve managed to get a few good combinations from it.

My favorite thing to color are faces and this one was on exception.  First I stamped her in gray then I could color the eyes a little bigger than what’s on the stamp.  I also defined the nose and mouth a little more.  There was a point the markers were gunking up, which started to freak me out.  However, this time I tried the Blender marker then followed up with E0000.  It seemed to do the trick but then I knew I was finished and couldn’t really do anymore for fear of it getting gunky again.

Copic Colors Used:
E0000, 00, 21, 31, 34
BV23, 25
W3, 5, 7, 8, 10
C0, 4
Y11, 23, YR23
E70, 74, 77, 79
BG000, 18, 53

  1. Absolutely perfect hun. Love your colouring and your card design. My E11 keeps gunking. Even after changing the nib. So I think it is time to say goodbye and replace the whole pen. Sobs.Hugs.xx
