Here’s another project for the Make it Colourful monthly challenge this month … to create a Spooky Night Sky! Head on over there to check out my tutorial and hopefully get your creative juices flowing. ;D For this page, I used Kreepy Kitty from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps.
I saved all the coloring tips for the tutorial at Make it Colourful so I’ll just ramble on about the embellishments and journal page that I created. The best part is the Mini Dragonfly chippies from Make it Crafty – I colored them with Copic markers to give them a greenish look.
The mean looking pumpkin is actually a felt sticker from Martha Stewart and thought it would give a fun whimsical look to counter the creepy feel. Here’s a close up of the colored image and be sure to head on over to the Make it Colourful site to join in on the challenge…. I super-duper-double-dog-dare you!!
I’d like to enter this into one challenge, the Kraftin’ Kimmie’s 100th Challenge! The theme was to use a favorite KK Stamp – it was hard to choose just one but for the occasion and current atmosphere I chose to go with a Halloween image.
That's awesome!Your creepy moon is great!Hugs Gea

Barbara, i saw your tute on the challenge blog and loved seeing how you developed the finished piece…that skull is seriously scary, i got that creeping flesh feeling looking at it (really!). I thought the monochrome version was the finished one cos it's that good, and it's amazing to see how simple a job it was to add colour once you'd got all the shadows in, I'll try that soon. Brilliant job and great inspiration. Thanks for the tutorial, and if i have nightmares about that skull tonight it's your fault! ha haa. CoB
