Lil’ Kitty

Hello, hello, hello!  It’s a holiday today and a strange feeling at that.  Just a week ago we all started school and now we’re already set for a three day weekend – odd, but welcomed!  😀  So while we’re all relaxing in our PJs or playing in the backyard with our friends, I thought I’d show off a card I had made a while back.

If you can believe, I have over 20 posts in draft mode just waiting to show but lately it’s been difficult to get the time to come in and say howdy.  However, having the extra time has been beneficial.  😀  So this project uses Lil’ Kitty from Little Miss Muffet Stamps which is one of the many cute Pollycraft images that have come over to find a new home.

I love this one as it reminds me so much of my own little girls who love wearing hats – even when it’s 100 degrees outside they’re still adorning their latest find!!  No kidding…. this last weekend we found an adorable knitted owl hat and they’ve been fighting over ever scince just so they can take a turn wearing it.  Just too cute sometimes.  😀

That’s about it for me today, short and sweet and hopefully a little inspirational too.  Have a great weekend and for those who don’t have to work or go to school today then hopefully ya’ll have something fun planned!

Sonny Honeycloud Butterflies

There is a great blog hop going on over at Lollipop Crafts today from now until August 4th that you don’t want to miss out on!  There is a fun challenge for ya’ll as you try to match up which company each of us are featuring!  I’m so excited I was able to play along too!  😀

You should have arrived here from the lovely JOANNA!

So what’s the occasion?  Lollipop Crafts is celebrating 2-years of challenge blogging!!  You can even join in on the celebration yourself by entering in the “Celebration Theme Challenge” (any type of celebration) that will run through the duration of the hop.

My project uses Sonny Honeycloud Butterflies from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and was drawn by Paula from Pollycraft.   Isn’t she adorable?!  I’m so excited that she’ll be drawing for me and there are even a few new ones that will be released this Thursday!!

Don’t forget there are hidden prizes around the DT blogs, so don’t miss out on visiting everyone and 2 prizes on the LC blog – one for a random hopper who leaves a comment on the LC blog and one for participating in the challenge.   Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the reswt of the creations too!

Your next stop in the hop is back to the Lollipop Crafts Blog!!

Celeste Amberglow Owl Always Love You

Hello, hello, hello!  The week is almost over but before we get to the weekend we have a new challenge starting over at Little Miss Muffet Challenges… and this one is much easier than the last!  The theme is icecream and not just any icecream but Neapolitan icecream!!  We want to see projects inspired by this summer favorite with chocolate, vanilla and strawberry colors.  😀

For my project I used Celeste Amberglow Owl Always Love You from Little Miss Muffet Stamps drawn by the fantastic Paula!  For the colors I went with a white vanilla, light pink and that yummy dark chocolate brown.  😀  I think icecream is one of my favorites and I don’t mind having it all year around… even in the middle of winter.  I know, it’s strange, but it’s still a favorite.  LOL

For those wondering, I did well on my mid-term exam and passed with a 81% then I got extra credit which bumped it up to 86%.  For this test it wasn’t too bad considering that the highest in the class was an 84% before extra credit.  Phew… I’m glad that is over with and now I can study for my final exam which will be next week.  These summer schedules are always so crammed in for time but I’m excited to say I’ll live through it.  LOL

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you get a chance to visit the LMM Challenge Blog to see the other design team’s creations and/or come say “Hi” in the new FaceBook group!

Sonny Honeycloud Poetry

Can you believe it’s Monday already??  Ok for some of you it’s possible because you’re half way through your day… but this weekend just flew past me so quickly that I hardly had time to breath.  It was a good weekend, however, and included lots of shopping!!  Plus I was able to steel away a few moments to ready a book and start the next one in the series.  😀

For my project today I’ve used Sonny Honeycloud Poetry from Little Miss Muffet Stamps drawn by Pollycraft and reading is one of my favorite themese!!  So if you notice I’ve even added a Label for reading called “… be a Bookworm” and you can click on that have all sorts of reading influences and inpsiration flooding your screen.  Besides, I’ve got to do everything I can to promote reading to my kids and they really admire out time crafting together so these are just a few subtles ways that I can sneak that in.  Sneaky, sneaky!!

You’ll want to be sure to visit the LMMS Blog today and se some other great inspiration from the Project Team!  Plus I have some fun news to share… I’m officially on FaceBook!  I’m still not as savvy as I should be but I’ve setup a group for Little Miss Muffet Stamps so come on over and pop in to say “Hi!”  Just click on the image below and you’ll be taken right to it…

Thanks for dropping by and I hope your week has started off wonderfully!  It’s mid summer where I am and we got a little rain today that was perfect and it almost reminded me of spring and autumn (my two favorite seasons) and I hope that tomorrow we’ll get a little more.  😀

Celeste Amberglow Farmin’ Apples

Monday posts are always the hardest to write – don’t you think?! Right now I’ve got my littlest yelling “ame oy! ame oy!” wanting to play another 14 hours with the GameBoy which I’ve secretly hidden away. He he he. I’ve been told she’ll survive. LOL

Today’s post is all about Little Miss Muffet Stamps and you’ll want to be sure to visit the LMM Blog for all the other inspiration from the Project Team! They’ve pooled together some projects using the rubber stamps and I love each one of them. 😀

For my project I used Celeste Amberglow Farmin’ Apples which is actually a Little Miss Muffet Stamps digi and was drawn by Paula from Pollycraft! When these cuties were released I ended up colored every one of them and made cards so now I have practically a whole month of inspiration just waiting to share! I made each of them generic cards but I plan to use them as birthday cards – which is what I use my cards for the most. Speaking of which, I really, really need to get June and July cards out before it gets any more embarrassing. (o.o)

That’s about all I have to write at the moment… I’ve got to find some other toy to occupy my toddler’s mind or I’m going to go crazy with “ame oy!” LOL Have a wonderful Monday!

Cheeky Monkey

Hope everyone is having a great week!  We have a little bit of inspiration for you today at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and did a bit of relaxing and created anything we wanted. 😀 So be sure to head on over there and check out the awesome projects from the design team!

For my project, I used Cheeky Monkey which is a Pollycraft image for Little Miss Muffet Stamps and created this colorful boy’s card.  I had colored all of Paula’s images at the same time using this paper as the color coordination so I tried to pick out the boyish colors and patterns.  The pink is actually a coral so it doesn’t really count as pink, right?  LOL

I used the green gems around the card and hoped they were reminiscent of fireflies so I also added one inside the jar.  After all, that’s what boys do!  My girls on the other hand have the typical phobia of all things crawling that even the mention of a bug would send them squealing into the other room!  LOL  Ok, so that might be a little bit of an exaggeration, but not by much.  😀
