Pluto

Yikes – I got stuck watching a movie!! Time to pause it and get the details included with my card here… Ok, you’ve got my full attention for a few minutes. LOL Today and tomorrow are New Releases for Little Miss Muffet Stamps and today I’m showing off Pluto! Come on over to the Challenge Blog to see more inspiration from today. ;D

Now this image has a little history to it and is actually a little part of a gift to Zoe for her birthday! Those that know her well or have watched her videos on YouTube know about her parrot, Pluto. So with a little inspriation from a different movie I was watching, Rio, I drew up this little guy one day and decided to suprise her with it. 😀 It came a little late but at last, it’s finished.

Of course, Pluto is one smart cookie so I had to have him helping with gift wrapping. LOL Whether it’s birthday, wedding, Christmas or any other celebration, I’m sure a gift wrapper will come in handy! For my card, I went for a Blue-and-Yellow Macaw with a bright and cheery birthday themed card.

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Crazy Amigo Challenge – animals
Crafty Boots Challenge – zoo or animals
Deep Ocean Challenge #9 – birthday
Digital Tuesdays Challenge #131 – birthday

Harvest Swan

Welcome to another challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!! This week our theme for you is to make a project that includes an Animal or Monster. ;D I chose to make a baby themed card and used the new Harvest Swan from last week’s new releases. After all, I need to start stalking up on baby and wedding cards as I am plum out!

I had colored the image first so it was difficult to find the right shade of pink decorative paper, however, if I hadn’t pointed that out then it would have been a good fake. Oops! I used some baker’s twine to attach a couple charms and then added some chippie dragonflies from Make it Crafty and gems in the corner.

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Designers Choice Challenge DCC928 – animals
Crafty Boots Challenge #2 – things with wings

Jada

This is my second new release preview from Little Miss Muffet Stamps this week and this gal is named Jada – she just got back from a day of shopping and coming home with her goods!! I’m sure those bags are filled with Copic markers, paper, embellishments and chocolate! LOL

For my journal page today I used the new released Jada image from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and combined her with the Romantic Window from Magnolia Stamps. Come check out all the new release this week over at the Little Miss Muffet Challenges blog – the design team have come up with some fabulous designs!!

My page is kind of a hodgepodge of supplies because I started out with the red star decorative paper in the background and decided it was too bright. Rather than waste the paper and remove it from the page, I started building up other papers on top and used neutral and muted embellishments to help dull down the red. I think it worked. ;D

I wish I could find some more burlap ribbon as I really enjoyed using it on this page – it’s a great neutral color and adds a lot of texture. I’ll be sure to keep an eye out the next time I head to the store. Lastly if you can see… I’m almost finished with this journal book!! Only one page to go and this book is finished. There is NO WAY it is closing but all those pages make it perfect to display it on my desk and I can easily flip the pages to match my mood.

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Die Cut Dreams Challenge #98 – flower power
She’s Gone Digital – art journal linking party

Harvest Swan

It’s new release week at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I have four new images we’re showing off today and tomorrow. Here I’m featuring Harvest Swan and I colored it up in black and whites for a wedding card. I kept the card simple and added a silk black ribbon and only a few dew drops at the lower corner.

I think this image would also be fun for baby cards too as well as birthday, of course, and this card could be also be used for a classy “over the hill” birthday card! Head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out all the other inspiration from the design team – they’ve done a fantastic job! Enjoy. ;D

Melanie

Welcome to another challenge with Little Miss Muffet Stamps and this time we’re asking for Things with Wings! I used Melanie on my mini journal page and since she was catching a falling star, I gave her an angel wing.

The rest of the page is pretty simple and I even had a chance to use some forgotten star eyelets that have been sitting in the back of my cupboard. That felt nice to use some of the old stuff. 😀 If you get a chance, you should make sure to visit the Challenge blog as there is some stunning creations by the Design Team!

Madelyn

Welcome to the second day of previews over at Little Miss Muffet Challenges blog! Today I’m showing off two more girls… Madelyn and Kaitlyn… so head on over and check out what the rest of the DT have created with these new gals. ;D

I used Madelyn in my mini journal and kept the layout simple with a couple sheets of decorative paper and a dragonfly brad. Finally I went around the edge with a white gel pen for some faux stitching. I had printed her out larger than normal and was pretty lucky that she fit on the page. LOL
