Quinceañera Daydream

I just wanted to tune in and show how to add pimples to an image!  Pimples?  Well, yes, even the best teenagers can try to cover up their blemishes but there is always that “one” picture that shows them off.  So in this image, I’ve used some orange, pinks and brown and added a couple blemishes.  The image is Quinceañera Daydream from Little Miss Muffet Stamps – check her out…

When adding them you want to find a spot on the face that they will stand out in addition to typical areas where pimples are found.  That’s generally anywhere except just below the eyes and near the hairline – although they’ll pop up there too.  LOL  Pimples can be more black or red or even a little white so have a little fun and experiment with your next teenager card!  Enjoy!

I Heart Chester

Are you ready for a little luv from Chester?!  He has a special Valentine just for you to share all the love that he has!!   This image is part of the Valentine release from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I’m so excited that I was able to make something using each of the newest rubber stamps!  That’s a big accomplishment for me even though it’s taken a month.  😀  However, I couldn’t resist the theme let alone the colors that are associated with it … i.e. pink and brown!

The images used on this project are I Heart Chester from Little Miss Muffet Stamps (which includes the extra hearts on the corner) and a small banner sentiment stamp from Make it Crafty (a little holiday gift from Zoe that works is so many ways!).  (Just found out this stamp is called Just Wanted to Say.) I stamped these images in brown then matched the colors with the papers.

It’s been a long time since I’ve used cork so I’ve tried to incorporate it into a few projects this month.  Sometimes I set something aside to “save” it only to forget about it!  It’s a curse to my crafting room but I’ve been good this past year and have been using the plethora of supplies I’ve horded.  So set out use something from your stash on the next project – it will be get a good example AND your craft-room organizer will thank you.  ;D

Celeste Amberglow Heartstrings

It’s another new release day at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and we have two groups of images being featured!!  We have new fairy images from Simply Sophia that you’re going to love! Plus do you remember the Valentine rubber stamp release from this month?  We’re featuring those two!  So sit back and enjoy all the creations and make sure you visit the LMM Challenge Blog for more inspiration.  ;D

On this project I’ve used Celeste Amberglow Heartstrings from Little Miss Muffet Stamps which is one of the new rubber stamps drawn by Pollycraft.  I think she’s so adorable and can be used for many occasions – this project has a girly theme, of course. I also used chip board embellishments from Make it Crafty and daubed them with acrylic paints.

This card was a challenge from a friend who said I should do a purple card!   So I used the last little bit of purple from my Valentine paper collection and matched it up with my purple Copic markers.  I also used a little BV20 and BV23 for the shadows which really changes the look and softens up the shadows.  The rest, as they say, is history.

Thanks for dropping by and I hop you’ve been inspired.  Make sure you visit the LMM Challenge Blog as the DT has done a wonderful job with this release – all the projects are awesome!!  Then head on over to the LMM Store and pick up your favorite Valentine stamps!!  Ciao!

Claudia’s Tutu

Have you seen the cute little bears from Pollycraft that are now at Little Miss Muffet Stamps?  I love them and I’m excited to announce that Spencer & Claudia join the team regiment.  There were two rubber stamps released this month and I’m also release two more next month – so what out for those but today, I’ll share a card with the Claudia that is already available.

For this project I used Claudia’s Tutu and part of the SS Sweet Sentiments stamps near the bottom; both are rubber stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I’ve also used the Party Banner Diecut!!  The papers are from a Valentine possibly from K&Company which was mostly pink but there was a purple sheet that I’ve used to create a few purple cards.  ;D

My daughter also had fun playing with Claudia’s Tutu and this is what she came up with.  She’s starting to square up and frame her mages which I think is awesome and it’s also great that her embellishments are no longer piled on top of the image.  ;D  I’m so proud of her!

You check find Claudia’s Tutu and the other new releases at Little Miss Muffet Stamps in the What’s New section and thanks for dropping by today!  Have a great weekend!

Ice Cream Bench

It’s challenge time!!  Little Miss Muffet Stamps is starting the next challenge and we want to see your luvy-duvy projects for this fortnight is all about “Hearts and Flowers!”  Of course, I could resit using one of the newest rubber stamp images from LMM and this was the perfect theme to get these cute sweethearts out together.  ;D

This project using the *new* SS Ice Cream Bench and SS Sweet Sentiment rubber stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  This adorable image was drawn by Pollycraft and is perfct all year around!  Yes, even during the winter months… especially if you’re adicted to ice cream like I am!  LOL

The flowers are found in the buttons and also a small border on the bottom of the card and if you can’t see the hearts then I might be a little worried for you – I’ve even used them in the sentiment with my paper piecing!  He he he.  Here’s a close up of the sweethearts and you can also see the background better.  I used light blue and did some dotting around the image.

Be sure to head on over to the LMM Challenge Blog and check out all the other wonderful creations using this theme!  Plus there are going to be some changes… remember how you can use a LMM image and submit unlimited “Anything Goes” projects?  Well now we’re adding Pollycraft images too!!  So when using a Little Miss Muffet Stamp or a Pollycraft stamp, you can choose to follow the current challenge theme or submit anything you want!!  Plus there is no limitations on the number of LMM and Pollycraft entries in the challenge!  Whoo hoo!  So what are you waiting for?  Come on over and play!

Ice Cream Cart

I’m so excited to announce the latest release from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and this one you are bound to love!!  It’s the Valentines Release!!  Of course, pink and brown are my favorite colors so making cards for Valentines is extra double fun and this card is no exceptions.  AND ice cream?  I love ice cream!  Make sure you head on over to LMMS too and check out all the New Releases!

For this project I used the Swings ‘n Slides Ice Cream Cart plus the Swings ‘n Slides Sweet Sentiments rubber stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  Then I colored it with my favorite colors and added some mint green to color the Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream with.  Yummy!

Then I started putting together the card – notice the sewing?  Yep, I still have my sewing machine out on the table!  😀  Then I added some embellishments from friends such as the green pearls from Ruby and the flower from Arabella – thanks sweeties!  Next I wanted to use the sentiment from this release so I stamped it on kraft cardstock and this is what I came up with …

The heart was stamped on white paper then cut and popped up on the sentiment tag which added a fun element.  As for the sentiment… well, I have to save these kinds of cards for really special people because I dooo love my ice cream!  LOL   So it makes for a perfect Valentine card from me.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this card and make sure you check out all the other new rubber stamps at Little Miss Muffet Stamps – you’ll *love them more than ice cream!*  😀
