Good Luck

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!  I love March and couldn’t resist sharing a lucky card for today using Good Luck from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and drawn by Pollycraft!  I love how this cutie is holding a giant four-leaf clover – something I always wished for when I was that age.  😀  Have you ever found a four-leaf clover?  My friends actually have, but I never found one.

This card was pretty easy to put together and I even had some green zipper ribbon that I wanted to use.  So the colors for the girl came from the papers and then the green zipper, clover and grass pull in the green elements.  I’ve seen some adorable all-green cards today but I was going for an all-purpose spring card.

At last minute I decided to add the grass – even after all the sewing was done.  But since the thread was dark I thought I could easily get away with it.  😀  I used various greens then came back in with flowers using the same yellows and pinks that are in the girls dress.  Then I added some white gel pen strokes and dots to brighten it up.

Isn’t she adorable?  Reminds me of my own little girls especially with the boots.  LOL  In fact, they’re outside playing today which sounds like a wonderful idea.  So I hope you’ve enjoyed this Good Luck inspiration and always a huge thank you for your comments.  *Hugs

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Sonny Honeycloud Poetry

Check it out we have new releases over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and tons of fabulous projects showing up over at the Little Miss Muffet Challenges Blog!  There are many new rubber stamps added to the store and today we’re adding three more!!  The DT gals and I are also featuring images from the last release and you can see them all in the What’s New section at LMMS.

For my project I used Sonny Honeycloud Poetry rubber stamp and paired her with the Party Banner Diecut, both from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  Then the sentiment is Just Wanted to Say from Make it Crafty along with the chipboard embellishment.  The layout of the card is actually CASE’d from Mary J who created a beautiful birthday card.  Thanks Mary for the inspiration!

I have loved using the rubber stamps lately because I can stamp them in brown and/or choose my favorite papers to color on – I think the colors are coming out so much more vibrant and I can spend a little more time on the details such as the shadows and the texture on her sweater.

This was one of my favorite Pollycraft images and one of the first ones I picked out – I love reading and actually just got another book from my sister that I can’t wait to get started on!  Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed the inspiration and I hope you get a chance to check out all the other projects from the DT – you can see them at the LMM Challenge Blog.  😀

Puppy Additions

I’m excited to announce there is a rubber stamp release at Little Miss Muffet Stamps today!!  These images are perfect for spring plus a few other occasions too – including St. Patrick’s Day, Easter and everything else Spring!  I’m still stuck on Valentines day and but I picked out one of the most versatile stamps and started playing. This is what I came up with… LOVE!

The stamps I used are called Puppy Additions from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and both are included in the rubber stamp.  I sized these two so they could go well with other characters and added on to any project – however, they’re also great to use instead of embellishments – or both!

The LOVE letters are actually stickers I had found in the $1.00 section of the scrapbook store and decided they would be perfect and easy to make a card with.  Plus there just enough room to add the Puppy Additions frolicking around.  😀  Then I also added a zipper ribbon and sewed it to the card.

My daughter also feel in love with these puppies and had to color her own.  So here are the same two pups but this time all dressed up fancy for a walk in the park!  And as you can see, she was very careful to give each dog their own ball to play with – yea, none of this “sharing” business that she has to deal with at home!  LOL

Thanks for coming by and I hope you’ve enjoyed these puppies.  Make sure you get over to the LMM Challenge Blog to see the other new releases this week as I’m sure you’re going to adore them too!  Have a great weekend!

Hatter Hat Stands & Party Banner

Today is a new challenge day at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and we’re having a color theme this time around with Blues & Yellows!  I don’t have a card yet to show but I did want to share something and even though this card is by far from yellow it at least has some blue!  😀  However, it’s the perfect example to show that if you use anything with LMMS products then you can submit “Anything Goes!”

For this project I used Hatter Hat Stands, Hatter Hats and also the Party Banner Diecut from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  It was easy to put together and I started out with stamping the hat stand directly on the background paper.  Then I colored and cut out the hat to pop on top and finally added two banner strands.  This is alternate take on a previous card I had done with the same elements and so easy to put together too!

I think it would be great for birthdays or if I had used red colors then it would be perfect for the Red Hat Society!  Anyway, make sure to pop on over to the LMM Challenge Blog and check out what all the ladies have created as inspiration for this round – they have yet again done a fabulous job!!  Thanks for dropping by and now I’m off to hit the sack.  😀

Casper Silvermist Crush

Happy Valentine’s Day!!  We have some fabulous Valentine/Party images being released at Little Miss Muffet Stamps today that you’ll want to check out!  You can click HERE to see them in the store or click HERE to see all the gorgeous inspiration the DT has created today… if you want my opinion, you should lick on both, of course!  😀   I wasn’t able to make a card with one of the new images but I have an equally appropriate one to share today instead….

This project uses Casper Silvermist Crush from Little Miss Muffet Stamps which is an exclusive image drawn by Pollycraft!  Plus I have added a variety of chippies from Make it Crafty – the Ornate Corners on the four corners and the Leaf Branches were painted with gold before adding them to the mix.  Then the flowers and rub-on are from Stampin’ Up and you should be able to spot stitching on almost all my projects by now.  😀  Love that little sewing machine!

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you’ve enjoyed this little romantic inspiration.  😀  I’m off to create some secrete Valentines to add to my daughters’ mailbox and hope your having equally as much fun!  Now you can head on over to the next blog and check out all the fabulous creations from the DT at the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog!  Ciao!

Spencer’s Bucket of Love

Shhh… don’t tell anyone that I’m awake!  LOL  I should be sleeping or at the very least doing my homework but I couldn’t resist posting this fun project that I made using one of the newest rubber stamps at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!!  I’ve been playing with these adorable images since they arrived at my doorstep back in January and it’s been a blast.  ;D  So today, I’m featuring a layout for the latest LMM Challenge and bringing you Spencer…

There are two images on this project which are Spencer’s Bucket of Love and Swings ‘n Slides Sweet Sentiments from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  Both of them were part of the Valentine release this year and work perfectly together.  The sentiment is large enough that I stamped it on special paper and colored the “Sweet” letters using the same reds that are used in the Spencer image.  Then I used my white gel pen and added a few accents.

Make sure you get a chance to pop on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog to see all the other gorgeous creations using this layout and be sure to come play along in the challenge this round!!  Anyone can play but for those who want to show off a LMMS you can choose to follow the layout theme or submit anything goes – it’s a bonus just for LMM fans!!  😀
