Cheshire

The Cheshire cat is the next character over at the SBS Blog and your next clue is “E” in trying to figure out the banner! Click HERE to find out more details on guessing the banner name and a chance at winning a prize while you’re at it. 😀

This is our third day of previews for of the Alice in Wonderland Chibis Collection and this, of course, Cheshire from Simply B Stamps. The keys were painted with acrylic dot paints and they’re from Maya Road, Antique Keys Mini Chipboard. Then I’ve used the same banner metal dies and cheese cloth from all the other banners too.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by! 😀 If you get a chance, head on over to the SBS Blog for more inspiration featuring this character.

The White Queen

Everyone knows who the White Queen is, right? To be honest, I didn’t even know she existed because, um, well, you know… the Disney version didn’t include her in the cartoon! LOL Then I grew up and learned all movies come from books and the books contain thousands of more details that never make it to the movies! Hence, my education began. 😀

This project uses the White Queen in the Alice in Wonderland Chibis Collection from Simply B Stamps and is our second image of the week included in the new releases! Don’t forget to head on over to the SBS Blog to catch all the other projects and see what the DT has created.

The letter “O” is your second clue in trying to figure out what this banner will say – can you guess it? Read about the prize and details in The Tweedles post and feel free to leave your comments here. 😀 Good luck!!

The Tweedles

Oh boy! Have I got some fun things planned for his week and I’m excited to show them all off – but, I’ll have to restrain myself and spread them throughout the week – bummer. 😀 Among one of those things is the new releases from Simply B Stamps! This week we’re bringing you inspiration in the form of Alice in Wonderland Chibis Collection. ;D

The image I used is The Tweedles, from Simply B Stamps, and in true sibling fashion they are bashing it out to see who is the best. LOL I made banners for each of the characters so you’ll get to see one new one every day. 😀

Make sure you visit the SBS Blog for the rest of the inspiration from the team and check back here often throughout the for all the exciting projects I have to show! Last week was Spring Break and after spending most of it in the hospital, (don’t worry, everyone is fine now), I finally rebelled and stole some play time towards the end. 😀

As an added mind-bending puzzle, can you try to figure out what the banner will say?

** And why not a prize!? **

Leave a comment on the “Alice in Wonderland Chibis Collection” projects this week with your guess(es) by this Thursday, March 22, midnight. The prize will be any 2 digi stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps AND the opportunity be a guest in the next LMMS Challenge! One lucky winner will be drawn from all the comments and announced on Friday during the SBS Release Blog Hop! Good luck!

Grampa Grumps

It’s New Release day over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and today we have several new images to show off! I’m using Grampa Grumps which fits my mood perfectly today. LOL I found the perfect sentiment to go along with him and I love this new color combination of pink too which is R81, R56 and R59.

This little guy also comes as a variation holding a sign that says “NO!” which is where he got his name from – his expression and the “no” answer reminds me of a grumpy Grandpa. LOL Don’t you think? Be sure to head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Blog to see all the new release inspiration! Plus there are details on how to win prizes for this week and on going with every new release!!

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Sugar Creek Hollow Challenge #3 – vintage shabby chic lots of layers
Crafty Purple Frog Challenge #36 – pink and girly
Do You Stack Up Challenge #63 – favorite color (pink and brown)
Pattie’s Creations Design Challenge #39 – tags
The Poodles Parlour Challenge – anything goes

Update: I was a Poodles Pick at The Poodles Parlour for this challenge!

Hot Air Balloon

Here’s another mid-challenge inspiration reminder and this one is for Make it Colourful where the them is to “Colour with Green!” You’ll have to check out the blog and gallery for more projects as the design team has done an awesome job!!

For my project I used Hot Air Balloon and Valley Above from Make it Crafty plus a few chippies from the N1 Fancy Collection. The chippies coordinate well with the new Whimsy sentiments so I took advantage of that and stamped one from Stylized Notables 1. The rest of the journal page was put together with odds and ends found around my crafting space.

The Valley Above was a fun image to color and I used three different combinations of green for all the greenery. YG90’s was used for the tree and BG90’s was used for the evergreen trees. Then the grass and fields are basically colored with the G20’s. With the three different tones of green it helps to define the scene.

I used a little green in the Hot Air Balloon but the rest was colored with contrasting rusts and tans to help set it off. The balloon was fun to color and I even got to add a few pleats. 😀 Hope you’ve enjoyed this journal page and thanks for stopping by!

If you’re interested in being on the design team, then now is your chance! Zoe is having her first ever DT Call and this will be your once in a blue moon opportunity… perhaps an orange moon opportunity. ;D Good Luck!

Little Lavinia

I seem to be playing catch up this week but at least I’ve got something to do. LOL This project is for the Simply B Stamps Challenge #3 and the theme is to “Celebrate!” We want to see your celebration projects – any celebration too: Birthday, baby shower, wedding, Holiday.. anything goes just pick a celebration! And you have oodles of time but no procrastinating is allowed. 😀

I’ve used Little Lavinia from Simply B Stamps as the main focus. The sentiment stamp is from Stampin’ Up! as are the ribbons, papers and decorative papers too. The little hat is one of the Hatter Hats from Little Miss Muffet Stamps which I had on my desk and thought it looked great with the clock. Lastly, the dragonfly chippies are from Make it Crafty.

I didn’t know it but the ribbon can be curled with a pair of scissors, just like the packaging ribbon! I got the idea off of a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator site but I can’t find the link now – it’s just a neat idea that I had to try it out. 😀

Hope you’ve enjoyed this bit of inspiration and thanks for stopping by! *Hugs
