Monster Balloon Your Day

We’re celebrating at Little Miss Muffet Stamps this month for our 3rd Birthday but today is extra special because we have ten new stamps out to play with!!  They all feature a celebration theme and I’ve chosen to work with Monster Balloon Your Day available in rubber.  I think this is a perfect boy card and I’ve used as many primary colors as possible… reds, blues and yellows; plus a little green and gray to coordinate with the paper I used.

This project uses Monster Balloon Your Day rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps plus the Party Banner Metal Die, also from LMMS.  I’ve colored it with Copic markers and used a black fine tipped marker for some doodling on the outside.

Bailey Blowing Kisses

Love is in the air at Make it Crafty and not just because we have new images but because we have a new illustrator too! Victoria has such a cute style and her images are perfect for colouring enthusiasts of all levels. The style is simple enough for beginners to practice blending yet offer flexibility for the more adventurous colourer to add detail to clothing and hair. We hope you love this new collection as much as we do and to help celebrate we thought we would have a fun blog hop to showcase the new release.

Seductive Barb

I wanted to share the details of my challenge project for this month and is one that I’ve enjoyed very much.  It has a little bit of everything to keep me happy… coloring, character, background and chippies. LOL Plus working with browns was the added bonus!

For this project I pulled out the journal and added another page.  I also combined it with the Australian Day challenge and a lifelong dream of mine… I’m sure putting it all together will easily reveal that I want to be Seductive Barb visiting Zoe in Australia.  🙂

I hope this inspired you and come on over to join the Make it Colourful challenge this month!

Polka Dot Pals Andy

Here’s a simple birthday card that I created using Polka Dot Pals Andy from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  He’s a bit green but I think you’re going to love the inspiration none the less!  LOL  He has probably stayed up all night and day playing his new game – which is something I’ve sort of down lately (the staying up all night and day, not the new game).  I think my kids would be along side of me too (and they’d be playing the new game)!  So if I don’t feel like I’m making any sense lately… we’ll, now you know why.  He he he

This was a fun little guy to color and would be just as much fun to color him a non-green color.  But you see, Jennifer colored a little piggy (she went Hot Wild with Extreme Color Placement!) so I had to respond with something – and she did such an awesome job with hers that I had to take the non-serious route and came up with coloring Kermit!

Animal Cracker Circus Monkey

I want to share a card that I used a wiggling Wobble on. This on uses Imaginisce’s Animal Cracker Circus Monkey and I think the sentiment is from Stamping Up but if it is I haven’t an idea on the stamp set it came from.

The Wobble was used for the monkey but instead of fussy cutting around the edges I used the shape die and made it all Wobble.  It’s still just as fun!!

Sugarplums Cherry Emma

Remember the tutorial I did with the waterfall background?  I have finished coloring the character and placed this image on a card.  😀  To finished this project, I went with some Extreme Color Placement and went with another Avatar image.  This project uses the Ivy Swing rubber stamp from Make it Crafty plus a Sugarplums Cherry Emma from CC Designs.

At first I wasn’t sure how I would like the background and was biting my nails through half of it.  But after cropping the image and finishing the card, it actually looks better than I thought!  Ya, that was a bonus!  LOL  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by today.  😀
