Grandpa’s Wrinkles

I’ve been on a roll this month and have managed to create more projects then the last couple months combined – it’s been great!  So today, I’m excited to share another one of those… this one is using Grandpa’s Wrinkles rubber stamp available at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I just love this guy and his sentiments!  LOL

I also shared this on the LMMS Challenge blog where you’ll find lots of new information regarding Week 3 of the Birthday Release Celebration.  If you get a chance… click on over there or pop into the FB Group for the update.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Rainbow Castle and Baby Unicorn

Tadah!  Here’s that project I was so scared about – not so scary now.  LOL  I was hung up on the color of the rainbow but still having the unicorn stand out.  Then I finally decided that the rainbow didn’t have to be a traditional ROYGBP range and went with a pink/purple one.  This allowed me to color the unicorn to stand out.  Goal accomplished!

The images I used are Rainbow Castle and Baby Unicorn rubber stamps by Make it Crafty.  I first stamped the unicorn and then masked it before stamping the rainbow.   I delved into my Valentine stash to create the card but also added some yellow to tie in with the unicorn and then some twine to tie the project.  He he he  Hope you enjoy!

Grandpa’s Rocker

Check it out – I just posted all the details for Week 2 of our Birthday Release Party!  This is one of the stamps that is being released this week and I couldn’t wait to use it.

For this project I’ve used Grandpa’s Rocker rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I love this little guy… er, I mean old guy.  Plus you’ll also spot the Cupcake & Books stamp also from LMMS (which is currently a freebie).    Both of these can be used in the Birthday Release Challenge – just sayin’.  😀

The project turned out better than I had thought and I am surprisingly happy about it!  The papers I used are Paris & Co by My Mind’s Eye and Little Boy Blue from Crate Paper.  I’ve started to mix the paper stacks and sometimes I get lucky.  See that ticket stub in there?  I’ve been hanging onto it for years and I’m so happy to get rid of it finally!  LOL  Thanks for coming by today and have a great weekend!

Spencer Loves Cake

Spencer Loves Cake and this is a big cupcake!  This is a new rubber stamp available at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I’ve created this project for the Sketch Challenge that just opened up for today.  I rotated the sketch 90 degrees then swapped out the rectangle for a circle.  The dragonflies are chippies from Make it Crafty and I covered them with Stickles.  The colors were taken from the papers which was Cold Avocado Soup from Jillibean Soup.

I also used the little cupcakes from the Cupcakes & Books, also from LMMS, and is currently a freebie during the release.  This is a perfect stamp to add to any project – plus it gives you the bonus of adding it into the Birthday Release Challenge too.

Swings ‘n Slides Snuggles

We’ve had some unusual weather this week and, to my kids’ delight, had a couple extra days of no school!  So we’ve been lounging around in our PJs and kicking back.  That has inspired me to share this ATC Journal card I created – the image is Swings ‘n Slides Snuggles from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored this one using Prismacolor Pencils. I didn’t have any papers to help me coordinate the colors so I’m not so sure of what I came up with.  That’s gotta happen every once in a while, I suppose!  Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy it and thanks for visiting.

Funny Faces

Say cheese!  When I first laid eyes on the Roberto’s Rascals this was one of the first images I saw and immediately fell in love.  They’re just like my kids!  I can’t get a straight face out of them unless I threaten something fearce and then I risk the chance of getting a sad face.  LOL  But that’s why they invented digital cameras … 100 pictures… 1 good mug shot!  Yep, that’s how it is now days.  🙂

This project uses Funny Faces from Roberto’s Rascals and also the instant camera in Say Cheese from Lawn Fawn (plus sentiment and smilie face).  I colored it using the sparkly Curious Metallic Cryogen White paper and my Copic markers.  The papers are from all over the place but the dragonflies are Make it Crafty chipboard embellishments that I painted with sparkle paint.  I love those little guys!  Lastly are two corduroy buttons.

I had fun with this project!  Thanks for dropping by and I hope you had a great weekend!
