Yesterday was a release day at Whimsy Stamps and there are some adorably fun images to play with… including two new Polka Dot Pals digital coloring scenes! For my post today, I’ve featured the second image, Polka Dot Pals Imogen in Mason Jar. These digital coloring scene are da’bomb! (If I may say so. LOL)
This scene is ready to color so there is no merging or cropping involved – they all come complete with adorable characters and faces too. I like to think of them as quick and easy to down to business – the coloring – which is the fun part. They’re even large enough that simply making a one-layer card looks stunning. So when you’re at a loss for what to color, browse the digital coloring scenes and pick out your favorite!
I wasn’t sure what colors I wanted to use on this so I started out with the obvious ones… green for grass, then I choose green for bushes and went on to a blue sky. This is where my creativity jumped in and I added some purple. I mirrored that purple at the bottom with Liquid Pearl drops. Next I chose red/orange/yellow and then tried to stick with those colors for the rest of the image. Once coloring was done, I added Crystal Drops and Liquid Pearls for some dimension.
