Lallana Llama and Lukeelu Alpaca

I’m slowly moving over from winter projects to Valentines.  They’re both great color combos that I enjoy.  For this project I’ve used Lallana Llama and Lukeelu Alpaca to create this Valentine themed note card. These were two new images released this week at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that I’ve started to crochet a little so these two characters came out of my curiosity from yarns.  Up until this point, I didn’t really know there were differences between alpacas and llamas.  Hope you enjoy!

The Copic colors I used on Lallana-Llama are:
E41, 42, 43, 44
BV20
For and Lukeelu Alpaca and the Make it Crafty chipboard, I used:
E50, 51, 53, 55
B0000, 52, 16, 97
BV20

The layout for the card is Mojo Monday #313

  1. You can really go down the rabbit hole once you start thinking about fiber, Barbara. Look for a local fiber fair in your area to meet both alpaca and llama and find yarns and roving from each. Then, you need to learn to spin and dye, LOL! Been there, done that! Anyway, your images are very sweet, and I love the fun card layout you created.

  2. I might be in trouble if I go to one of those… already I fell like the yarn is another candy store. LOL One thing that impressed me was alpaca yarn. Before holding a skein, I had the impression it was going to be scratchy. But oh my, how soft!
