Here’s a quick card that I made using the animal segments from Spring Short Stack by Stampendous. I figure since it’s the Year of the Dog that I need to color more dog stamps for good luck. This card was inspired by the Splitcoast Stampers technique “Pop Out Card” by Kelly Jean.

Birthday Memories – Poodles
I’ve used the Birthday Memories designer series papers from Stampin’ Up! to create this project and followed the lovely card layout and idea from the talented Hofkissed. I also used some Make it Crafty chipboard embellishments for the sentiment and some gems for sparkle. I loved how the spots coordinated with the dog theme and she made a very festive birthday card that I wanted to capture.
Lallana Llama and Lukeelu Alpaca
I’m slowly moving over from winter projects to Valentines. They’re both great color combos that I enjoy. For this project I’ve used Lallana Llama and Lukeelu Alpaca to create this Valentine themed note card. These were two new images released this week at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.
If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that I’ve started to crochet a little so these two characters came out of my curiosity from yarns. Up until this point, I didn’t really know there were differences between alpacas and llamas. Hope you enjoy!
The layout for the card is Mojo Monday #313.
Swings ‘n Slides Happy Mail
I’ve used Swings ‘n Slides Happy Mail rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.
You can link any project from any company that you’d colored this week.
I wanted the dress to coordinate with the paper so I colored it blue then used a white gel pen and attempted to draw in the same pattern. I was able to get a few of the complicated components then filled in the rest with more simple ones. I think it turned out better than I anticipated.
Jr. Hatter Twinkle
I’ve taken Lyn up on a challenge at Splitcoast Stampers (challenge #TLC673) and created a silhouette from Jr. Hatter Twinkle from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I followed the tips and just used a black sharpie and white gel pen. In the background, instead of a distinct moon, I went with a light glow.
