Spring Short Stack

Here’s a quick card that I made using the animal segments from Spring Short Stack by Stampendous. I figure since it’s the Year of the Dog that I need to color more dog stamps for good luck.  This card was inspired by the Splitcoast Stampers technique “Pop Out Card” by Kelly Jean.

These are the Copic markers I used on this card:
E42, 43, 44, 47
YR30, 24, Y23
BG11, 18, 57
T7, R12, BV23
T1, 3, 5
Below, this is the INSIDE of the card. I added a border around the edge because it was handy and added a little more color to the card.  This was a fun technique – thanks Kelly!

Lallana Llama and Lukeelu Alpaca

I’m slowly moving over from winter projects to Valentines.  They’re both great color combos that I enjoy.  For this project I’ve used Lallana Llama and Lukeelu Alpaca to create this Valentine themed note card. These were two new images released this week at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that I’ve started to crochet a little so these two characters came out of my curiosity from yarns.  Up until this point, I didn’t really know there were differences between alpacas and llamas.  Hope you enjoy!

The Copic colors I used on Lallana-Llama are:
E41, 42, 43, 44
BV20
For and Lukeelu Alpaca and the Make it Crafty chipboard, I used:
E50, 51, 53, 55
B0000, 52, 16, 97
BV20

The layout for the card is Mojo Monday #313

Swings ‘n Slides Happy Mail

I’ve been wanting to color this one for a while especially to give that pillar box a nice rich red color. I went off of memory and added some black to the base.  I missed the top placard when coloring and accidentally colored it red too… that meant I couldn’t give it a nice shiny metal color so I went with black instead. But it still works.

I’ve used Swings ‘n Slides Happy Mail rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

There’s a new Anything Goes challenge this week – come link any project!
You can link any project from any company that you’d colored this week.

I wanted the dress to coordinate with the paper so I colored it blue then used a white gel pen and attempted to draw in the same pattern. I was able to get a few of the complicated components then filled in the rest with more simple ones.  I think it turned out better than I anticipated.

The Copic markers I used on Swings ‘n Slides Happy Mail are:
BV23
T8, 5, 3, C3, 1
R02, 08, 59, 29
YG91, 93, 95
B91, 93, 97, 99
BG11, 32, 34
E41, 42, 43, 44
E00, 01, 21, 34
B000, 00, 01

Clover Snowflake Kisses

It’s still winter, right?  There were a few more winter stamps that I wanted to color this season so even though it’s after Christmas, I thought I’d make them anyway.  Besides, it’s still cold.
For my project today, I’ve used Clover Snowflake Kisses rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. For some of the accessories, I’ve used the Cutters Icicle Border metal die and some Make it Crafty chipboard embellishments.  Then I piled on the Stickles glitter.
