Skelekinz Haunted House

I had some fun experimenting tonight and was actually able to color AND make a card!  I wasn’t sure how I was going to get through it but it all comes back when ya need it.  🙂  The image I used was Skelekinz Haunted House rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

I started with the tree stencil in the background and really wanted to do something with that.  I used a sponge ink pad to apply the gray, heavily at the top then fading to nothing at the bottom.  I then stamped the Haunted House (which might have been easier to stamp first and mask it.  LOL)  Luckily the colors and position of the house worked out.  Then I applied some doodles around the edge which I’m picking up from Faye at the moment.  🙂  After that, everything else was hit and miss embellishments.

Behind the layered cardstock is cheesecloth with some spiders that I punched out of black paper.  I used puff paint to give them orange eyes.  The stars are brads that I stuck randomly around the top and then I added Baker’s twine at the bottom to ground it all.  Finally the pumpkin charm that has been waiting around for the year was finally selected and I added orange micro-beads in the holes for some color.  Tadah!
