Mother’s Koala

Here’s the card I promised featuring Mother’s Koala which I made for the Forgotten Scraps Challenge #3! I chose to go with a rich color scheme and bring in some black for deeper tones. Before using the Spellbinders die, I cut around the top part of the tulips then excluded that part by tucking it over the die before cutting.

Did you know? The climate of Minnesota is typical of a continental climate, with cold winters and hot summers. Minnesota’s location in the Upper Midwest allows it to experience some of the widest variety of weather in the United States and winter in Minnesota is characterized by cold temperatures as low as −60 °F (−51 °C). Snow is the main form of winter precipitation where annual snowfall extremes can be over 170 inches (432 cm) in the rugged Superior Highlands of the North Shore.
