Town Girl

** BLOG CANDY ** Today is the last day to enter yourself into the drawing pool for some blog candy! Go to my Blog Candy – Whiff of Joy post to leave a comment and read all the details. There are currently 88 Followers but only 15 Comments on that post so your chances are high – Good luck! **

I made this card using Town Girl by InStyle Stamps. The challenge is an anything goes theme and I experimented with a single-layer white card. Using the border embossing folder really adds the final touch to complete this card. I only wish the embossing folders were just a tad bit bigger as I always have to trim my card down about 1/4″ to fit the design.

Did you know? Ice, technically, may be any one of the 15 known crystalline phases of water. It appears in nature in forms of precipitation snowflakes, hail, icicles, glaciers, pack ice, and entire polar ice caps. Ice is an important component of the global climate, and plays an important role in the water cycle. Furthermore, ice has numerous cultural applications, from ice cooling of drinks to winter sports and the art of ice sculpting.

  1. This is 'gorgeous' Barbara. I have eyed it off serveral times before leaving a comment. 🙂 Your colouring is tops and my absolute favourite part is how you even coloured the glow of the light outside the lamps. Great eye for detail. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your card with us at Make it Crafty. Hugs xxoo
