Mini Cupcake

I made this card using the digi Mini Cupcake from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps, which is a freebie. I normally don’t work with such bright colors, but this is what you get when you ask a youngster to pick out the paper! It will be a great girl’s birthday card.

Did you know? The abacus, also called a counting frame, is a calculating tool often constructed as a bamboo frame with beads sliding on wires; but originally they were beans or stones moved in grooves in sand or on tablets of wood, stone, or metal. The abacus is still widely used by merchants, traders and clerks in Asia, Africa, and elsewhere. The user of an abacus is called an abacist.
