Trick or Treat Kids

Whimsy Stamps is kicking off their Halloween mini releases in full tilt – there have been some in the past but this is one I decided to join in on. This set has kiddos dressed up for Halloween and I thought this little vampire was adorable. So I paired him with the new Poof! Word die and Film Strip to create this comic vibe card.

Ready for school?

Ready or not, here it is! Two of my kids have already started school and the third is set to start on Monday. So we have to say goodbye to our lazy summer days and get back into a more rigid schedule. However, perhaps the more relevant question is are you ready for Halloween? Whimsy Stamps kicks off their Halloween celebrations with their mini release starting tomorrow and I have an adorable card to show off. If you’re not already, be sure to subscribe on the sidebar to get notifications of new posts delivered right to your email box.

The elements on this project were from my Live coloring yesterday on Facebook. I’ll be doing more Live coloring so be sure to follow my page to get notification of when I start.

Enjoy the little moments

This is Polka Dot Pals Eileen and even though she lives in the city, she’s found a nice quiet park to read her book. This set and the other school-themed set, Polka Dot Pals Delia, are both on sale right now. These are some of my favorite sets and I enjoy using them for more than just school days. I used the same color scheme (mostly) as yesterdays card. I colored this gal live of Facebook so after adding these cuties to your shopping card, be sure to come on over and watch.

Back to school

Are you ready for the kids to get back to school? Maybe you’re looking forward to quieter streets during the day or less chaos in the living room. Personally I love summer and having my kids around so back to school is a mixed bag for me. But this card isn’t! I had fun creating it using Polka Dot Pals Delia and a few (ha ha more like many) metal dies to create this scene. (She’s currently on sale too so don’t miss out on this adorable gal.)

Hello there little blossom

Flowers are good for everything, right? For this card, I had wanted to use the Peekaboo Window 2 die set with one of the tile stamp sets and decided to use the Flower Tiles. At first, I couldn’t decide if I wanted them all to be the same or not – but decided they were going to be all different. I think the sunflower is my favorite because it’s a bright yellow.

On an ocean cruise

I’ve yet to go on a cruise but I think it will be one of my bucked list items. I think it depends on where the cruise is at – but since it’s a bucket list that means I get to choose. Right?! I thought I would create a fun cruise card using the tiles from Ocean Tiles Seas the Day clear set and make this one a kinetic card. It’s been a while since I’ve created movement in a card so there was a small learning process to wrap my brain around it. However, I think it get easier each time and I really enjoy playing it with when it’s finished. I think others do to – so it’s well worth it!
