Did you know? In Harry Potter, The ride on the Hogwarts Express starts from King’s Cross railway station platform 9¾ and is reached by walking through the barrier between platforms 9 and 10. Rowling discovered after the books were published that she had confused the layout of King’s Cross since there is no platform. To solve this, the filmmakers re-numbered platforms 4 and 5 for the duration of filming. Today, an area in King’s Cross Station has been decorated with a cast iron ‘Platform 9¾’ sign, complete with a luggage trolley ‘stuck’ halfway through the wall as tribute to the book.

Welcome to my corner of the Hoppin’ into the Holidays Blog Hop where I used one the Darling Sisters stamp for the “Let it Snow” category. This is a simple layout but works well to bring out the pattern paper and decorative die! “Almost” makes me wish for snow this winter. 😀

The challenge is to create a card or project based using the Three T’s: Teal, Travel and Torn Paper. I also used Club Anya & Friends’ Saturday Sketch and made a great Christmas Card for the third challenge. Sometimes, a non-holiday stamp makes the best ones!

Did you know? Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide and is colorless, odorless, non-flammable, and slightly acidic. The low-sinking, dense clouds of smoke-like fog that is created is from a process called Sublimation. Sublimation is the transition of a substance from the solid phase to the gas phase without passing through an intermediate liquid phase!
