Birthday Memories – Daddy Bear

I often feel like I have to use my own LMMS projects for promotional uses so I never have enough birthday cards on hand to use.  I think I’ve found my solution for that!  I’ve used the Birthday Memories designer series papers from Stampin’ Up! to create this project and followed the lovely card idea from Patsy Waggoner.  I also used some Make it Crafty chipboard embellishments for the sentiment and a couple star gems for sparkle. She has some other cute cards on her website too.

Tilda Twins

The challenge at Totally Tilda this week is to add wings and I decided to go for a black and white simple card.  The wings I added were from a metal die in the background and also a butterfly gem next to the flower.  I’m not sure if adding wings to the card was the challenge or if I needed to add wings to Tilda herself.  Anyway, I’ve entered it in the challenge as one to share.

Mentionable Products:
Twin Tilda – Magnolia
(sentiments) – Stampin Up
Birds on a Wire metal die – Little Miss Muffet Stamps

Animal Cracker Circus Monkey

I want to share a card that I used a wiggling Wobble on. This on uses Imaginisce’s Animal Cracker Circus Monkey and I think the sentiment is from Stamping Up but if it is I haven’t an idea on the stamp set it came from.

The Wobble was used for the monkey but instead of fussy cutting around the edges I used the shape die and made it all Wobble.  It’s still just as fun!!

Sonny Honeycloud Mistletoe

Today is Super Saturday at Little Miss Muffet Stamps where we feature a rubber stamp that will be on sale for the week plus the freebie image for the day!  This is a limited time special and today I wanted to create something with the rubber stamp: Sonny Honeycloud Mistletoe!  She’s a popular one and you’ll want to make sure to visit the LMMS Blog for the other fabulous DT creations!

I went with some simple and used one layer of cardstock, Crygon sparkling white, and stamped my image directly on the page.  (The little ticket is a stamp from Stampin’ Up!) Then I used some ribbon, a ticket and staples for embellishments.  There is a little doodling on the card too for the border and wind, as you can plainly see.  He he he

I went with a non-traditional color pallet and chose green, brown/tan and yellow/gold for this one.  The green is just enough to say Christmas but the yellow and brown off set it enough to be different.  Don’t miss out on this one and jump into the LMMS Store to scoop her up while she’s on discount!!
