This stamp is called “Pig with Butterfly.” I drew it by hand and turned it into a stamp, and I really loved how it came together. There was something simple and gentle about pairing the pig with a butterfly that just felt right.

I actually had a bit of a hard time deciding how pink to make the pig, and in the end I kept the coloring soft. Instead of fully coloring in the eyes, I made them smaller so it looks like the pig is slightly cross-eyed, staring at the butterfly. For the card, I kept the design clean and simple and used metal dies from Whimsy Stamps so the artwork could really stand out.

The sale ends tonight, so if this one’s been on your list, today’s the day to grab it.

Cow with Butterflies

This piece is called “Cow with Butterflies.” I drew and colored it by hand and then turned it into a card. The paper instantly made me think of farming, canned foods, and early mornings milking cows, so it felt like the perfect match for this cow. Not that I’ve ever experienced early mornings like that! LOL The card was assembled using metal dies from Whimsy Stamps.

It also happens to be the very first image I’ve drawn this year, which makes it feel extra special to me. If you’ve been eyeing something or waiting for a good time to shop, this is it — the sale ends tonight. Come visit Sproatmeyer Stamps and checkout with your favorites.

Unicorn Rearing

I had so much fun coloring my Unicorn Rearing stamp from Sproatmeyer Stamps! I wanted to create a truly magical feel, so I gave her rainbow sparkly hair and placed her among Celtic ruins, adding a touch of mystery and fantasy to the scene. I can’t wait to color this one again.

For the card design, I kept things simple with Whimsy Stamps metal dies, which framed the unicorn nicely without taking away from all the details.

I really love how this one turned out—it’s definitely one of my favorite projects recently! There’s something about the colors, the sparkle, and the magical vibe that just makes me smile every time I look at it.

Dog with Ball

This image is Dog with Ball. I recently created this card using a dog image I drew and colored with Copic markers. The color pattern is inspired by my own dog, which made this project especially meaningful. After coloring, I kept the card design simple and used metal dies from Whimsy Stamp so the focus stayed on the image.

Looking at the finished card, I feel like I colored the dog a bit too dark. At the time it seemed fine, but with some distance, I think lighter shading would have given it a softer look. That’s part of the learning process, though, and I already know I want to color this image again.

If you’d like to try coloring it yourself, the dog image is available for purchase at my shop, Sproatmeyer Stamps.

Lovebirds with Flower

I drew these lovebirds thinking about the small, everyday moments that make love feel big. The quiet glances. The shared routines. The feeling of a warm hug, again and again.

This is Lovebirds with Flower and was first colored with Copic markers, building warmth and softness into the birds themselves. After that, I created the background using Arrtix acrylic paint pens and layering color and texture to give the piece a sense of depth and atmosphere.

If it speaks to you or reminds you of someone special, it’s available to bring into your space at Sproatmeyer Stamps.
No pressure – just a piece made with love, for love.

Cat with Yarn

New release time – from now until Saturday, use coupon code “NewYear” to receive 40% off your order.

This is Cat with Yarn, the latest digital stamp now available in the shop. It makes me smile every time! I may not have a cat, but my dog absolutely loves to sneak into my yarn bag and pull out the expensive merino, turning it into a joyful, tangled mess. If only she’d go for the cheaper cotton balls instead! That playful chaos was definitely part of the inspiration behind this stamp.

I’m also thrilled to be joined on this creative adventure by Annabel Haines from Cartway Cards, who is now part of my design team. She has always kept me inspired with her incredible talent using colored pencils and her eye for creative color placement. (I have many of her cards on my wall too.) Seeing my stamps through her artistry will be incredible!
