And one more time…

I’m coming back one more time with Polka Dot Pals Fern. I had an extra copy and decided I would take a time-out working and just color. I took inspiration from the gals at the Sproatmeyer Coloring Toolbox Retreat on how to color some elements such as the doodles around the border, red hair, green eyes, etc. You can buy Polka Dot Pals Fern here exclusively on my website. She has certainly been a fun one to color for me. 😀

Endearment

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend – I know I did. It was busy yet relaxing and wonderful company. 😀 I’m coming in late today with a collaborative project from the Sproatmeyer Coloring Toolbox Retreat using Polka Dot Pals Fern. This is such a fun keepsake from the event and very special to me. Thank you everyone that came!

Dream Hugs

Here is the last reindeer in the Reindeer Games Jingle All the Way set and I thought I would go for something non-holiday related. This little tyke looked so sweet and dream and reminded me of my kiddos when they were wee. So I took that feeling and created this card. I think it would be perfect for a welcome baby or a toddler’s birthday. To me it looks so cozy – I want to join on my soft bed too. 😀

Dream BIG

Today’s post features another cute reindeer in socks from the Reindeer Games Jingle All the Way. with this one, I thought it could fit multiple themes because the hat looking like a sleeping cap – so I took that idea and ran with it. What do reindeer dream about? Well, I’m sure I don’t know but it probably has giant gum drops and rainbows all around. I’ve used the Mini Slim Pickens Gumdrop die to create the background. I think some of the other designers have nailed it on the head with the sparkly and “sugar” coated gumdrops so I wanted to try something else. After coloring them with the blender brush and ink, I spritzed them with glitter mist. It didn’t turn out as well as I thought it would but it was a good experiment.

Pucker up!

Get ready because it looks like Rodolph is headed your way for some mistletoe mischief. This reindeer is included in the Reindeer Games Jingle Shine Bright clear set which adds to the other four reindeer released last month. I stamped this one on some paper and decided I was going to color a snowy scene. I started with the mountains then added some trees. I was going to add blue for the sky but a last minute thought steered me towards a yellow-orange. I’m glad it di because it really brightens up the scene.

Snowglobe

There is a new mini release at Whimsy Stamps today and, though I’m not featuring anything from this release, I thought I would feature some of the past releases that I missed… specifically with the Reindeer Games Jingle Shine Bright clear set and Holiday Snowglobe Outlines die set. This is one of four new reindeer to join the team of reindeer games and one of my favorites! This week, I’ll be showing cards I made with the others too – it’s certainly a set you’ll want in your collection especially if you have the other reindeer.
