Birthday Tia

I made this card using Birthday Tia from Some Odd Girl. I originally tried for their OWH challenge but missed the deadline so made it for the next challenge. That challenge is to create a card or project using monochrome colors. I’m always surprised at how versatile that challenge is and I’m starting to like that theme.

There are several Operation Write Home challenges ongoing so I made one card for display in the challenges but sent them 10 cards from my box. This way I was able to get it in the mail quickly so they could be sent out with this month’s mailing.

Did you know? Sans is a French preposition meaning “without” and is being used in the same sense in English. A commonly recognized word Sans-serif, in typography, is a typeface that does not have the small features called “serifs” at the end of strokes that make up letters and symbols. For fun, Sans Souci would mean without cares.
