Beach Time Chris Munster & Water Balloon London

Welcome back to some more Teen Scene Summer Fun with Simply B Stamps!!  Today I have combined two new images, Beach Time Chris Munster and Water Balloon London, to create this sherbet inspired summer card.  Don’t forget to head on over to the SBS Blog for more design team inspiration and I’ll have one more project this week to share for this release too.  😀

One of the sheets of decorative paper I used for this project had the old-fashioned photo prints and I knew I wanted to use those!  It took a little juggling around on the layout but I finally got three of them on there and I think it turned out better than I had originally thought.  I’ve used them again on my final project too – they’re just so fun!  😀

How about a game?  It will be kinda like a Truth or Dare!  What are the top 10 things you want to know about me OR want me to make/create/color?  Leave your answers in the comments and I’ll pick one for tomorrow!  {GRIN}

Beach Time Lola Munster & Lifeguard Christian Addams

It’s more Summer Fun with Beach Time Lola Munster and Lifeguard Christian Addams from Simply Betty Stamps!!  These two are ready to save your drowning sole from where ever you are swimming.  Ok, maybe a little too grim but at least they look great together.  😀  I used two other stamps in the background… Magnolia Clock with Hands and Jenni Bowlin Studios Protractor Clear Stamp.

Don’t forget to drop by the SBS Blog for al the other design team’s inspiration and I bet you can’t wait until this weekend for them to all be releases!  They’ve been fun to color and the paper I got over the weekend has been my own “life saver” in terms of mojo.  LOL  I’ve used the same paper for all the projects in the release and hope they don’t all look too much alike.  Anyway, hope you like this one and have a great day!

Summer Fun Rio & Pool Fun Miller

This week is new release week at Simply B Stamps and I have two great images to show today.  However, before we get to that, let’s announce our blog candy from this week!  The winner of the Addams Family Blog Candy stamp from Simply B Stamps is…

Congratulations Jan!  You’re going to have so much fun with this image!  😀  My email is on the sidebar and you can contact me with your mailing address.

Now back to the new release images – today I’ve combined Summer Fun Rio with Pool Fun Miller to make a backyard scene reminiscent of my childhood.  I remember filling the pool to the brim with water then having to do it again and again after each jump!  LOL  So lucky Miller has help from her sister Rio – or perhaps they’re taking turns (as any Mother would hope).

Remember the last summer beach themed cards I made?  (Just last week?)  Well, the color scheme wasn’t my favorite so I set out this week to find some new paper to go with this release – of course, we all *need* excuses to go shopping, right?!  The paper is Neapolitan bt American Crafts and it was perfct to spark my creativity.  And I picked up a couple of other things too – I mean, who wouldn’t?!

That’s it for today and thank you for all  your recent lovely comments.  {blush}  Don’t forget to visit the SBS Blog to see the other design team’s inspiration and have a great weekend!  *Hugs

Zombie Teen Summer

Are you ready for some fun zombie time?!  Simply B Stamps is having a limited digi release of of the Zombie Teen Summer images and I’m bringing them your way for some summer inspiration!!  Well, actually these are the “before” shots of the zombies before they became zombies.  😀

The papers I used are from Cosmo Cricket Salt Air with a dark brown mat over kraft paper.  (I don’t know why but this has been a difficult paper pack to work with but it’s the only water/summer theme I have – so I guess it’s time to go shopping this weekend. Yeah!!  LOL)  I used a various range of diecuts including some from Spellbinders, Stampin Up, and My Favorite Things.  Then I finished off the cards with some Baker’s Twine and a few odds and ends like charms, clocks, clouds, suns, tickets and dew drops.

For these projects, I chose to un-zombie-fy the images before printing them out.  So I removed all the zombie elements such as bones, scars and brains then printed them out.  A couple I merged with other images and created a little scene.  I did this once to the Christmas Teen Scene Zombies and drew in any missing lines.  However, this time, because the images were smaller in size, I didn’t need to do any extra drawing.

This is another gift set that will be perfect as a gift especially as the summer months come around and it starts to get super hot.  I’m more of a winter and cold kind of person so I’m not really looking forward to it.  But we have lots of shade in our backyard and some fans installed over the patio area so maybe this year will be a little more bearable.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the Zombie Teen Summer inspiration and remember these are available as digi stamps for a limited time at Simply B Stamps.  You can keep them as Zombies or show them reminicing of times past before they were corpses.  He he he

Fireman Jude

Today’s the day!  Welcome to the Simply B Stamps blog hop for the new releases of the Jude and the Rockers Just for Fun!  Remember to visit the SBS Blog for details on prizes and information on the digi and rubber stamps.

You should have arrived here from the talented LELIA
but if not you can start at the beginning HERE.

Today we’re previewing Fireman Jude and his cute little dalmatian puppy.  This is the perfect image for boy cards whether it’s a birthday, congratulations or just for fun.  And don’t let the fireman outfit fool you on color schemes as he looks perfect in red, black, yellow, orange and tan!

I got my color inspiration from lunch the other day – one of my favorite places for a good sandwich is Firehouse Subs!  I don’t know if you have any in your area but they’re even better than Quiznos and Which Wich.  Mmmm, just makes my mouth water thinking about it.  He he he

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you’ve enjoyed all the inspiration and previews from this week!  I even posted The Paper Project Experiment VIII and updated the main recomendation list.

Your next stop in the hope is the fantastic ALISON!
