Rio

I made this card using Rio from Simply Betty Stamps for the 10th Day of Halloween Challenge! The challenge is to create a card or project using spiders and with a skirt like that, Rio and spiders naturally go together. 😀

I used spiders from all over the house including a purple ring spider and the Lego spider in the center, not to mention spider paper and another fun metal medallion I found at the local scrapbook store. This was the first time I fumbled around making the paper medallion behind it; and I might make another one, maybe. ;D

Did you know? Père Noël is a legendary gift-giver during Christmas in France and French-speaking areas, identified with Father Christmas or Santa Claus in English speaking territories. According to tradition, on Christmas Eve children leave their shoes by the fireplace filled with carrots and treats for Père Noël’s donkey, Gui (French for “Mistletoe”) before they go to bed. Père Noël takes the offerings and, if the child has been good, leaves presents in their place.

Investors were swindled into purchasing a four-story edifice that was only 40 ft (480 in) tall, rather than the 480 ft (150 m) structure they were expecting. The blueprints accepted were clearly labeled as being 480″ (inches) tall and consisting of 4.0 floors.
