Celeste Amberglow Cupcake Party

LMMS is sponsoring In the Pink Challenge today and the theme is FAF or CAS, plus lots of pink.  And what do those mean?  That’s ‘Fussy and Fancy’ or ‘Clean and Simple’ in case you were wondering like I was.  🙂   They also want to see more pink on your project that any other color, except neutral colors, naturally.

I decided to join along and for my project I used Celeste Amberglow Cupcake Party rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  My pinks are shown up in the paper and embellishments and I even colored the star and flowers pink for extra measures.  The dragonflies are chipboard embellishments from Make it Crafty.  I had fun coloring Celeste Amberglow and gave her lots of vibrant colors to celebrate with.

I hope you like it and thank you for dropping by the blog today!  Have a fantastic week!

Celeste Amberglow Celebrate

The next challenge is starting at LMMS and this time it’s all about circles!  We want to see you create with circles – whether that’s a circle shapes card, using circles or making circles.  You can probably stretch it but as long as you have plenty of circles then we’ll let it slide.  LOL

I pulled out a project that I made last week that seemed to fit.  The balloons are circles, right?  Then the polka dots on the paper, the circles on the diecut flower and circle embellishments.  (I know it’s a stretch but hay, it’s a card to share and that’s the main point.  He he he)  The glowing yellow circle in the background is a technique I learned from my friend Zoe.

This project uses these mentionable products:

Swings ‘n Slides Coconut Shy

It’s been one of those days where I finally get everything done that I “needed” to get done but nothing that I really “wanted” to get done.  Sigh.  So this will be a short post but I wanted to share the project I created with the Swings ‘n Slides images that everyone helped me with.  I have saved the color combos on this one too but have since lost it.  Boo.  😦  However, if I ever find them then I’ll come back in and update this post to add them.  In the mean time… enjoy!

For this project I used these stamps:

Cutters Baggie ‘n Tag

I’ve been playing around with the Cutters Baggie ‘n Tag metal die and came up with this mini creation.  And this tag has it all!  This one uses the packaging from the Birdie rubber stamp so I didn’t color it – and it made it a fast make too.  I also used some other Cutters to create the scene… Balloons, Grass Border and Say What? metal dies.  Yeah…. it was a fun project!  The Balloons where cut out in white and then I colored them with my markers so I was able to sneak in a little coloring time.  LOL  Lastly I stamped the “Make a WISH” sentiment from the Birthday Sentiments stamp.  I love how the tag turned out but the funnest part was putting the strings on the balloons.  😉

Spencer Loves Cake

Spencer Loves Cake and this is a big cupcake!  This is a new rubber stamp available at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I’ve created this project for the Sketch Challenge that just opened up for today.  I rotated the sketch 90 degrees then swapped out the rectangle for a circle.  The dragonflies are chippies from Make it Crafty and I covered them with Stickles.  The colors were taken from the papers which was Cold Avocado Soup from Jillibean Soup.

I also used the little cupcakes from the Cupcakes & Books, also from LMMS, and is currently a freebie during the release.  This is a perfect stamp to add to any project – plus it gives you the bonus of adding it into the Birthday Release Challenge too.

Swings ‘n Slides Snuggles

We’ve had some unusual weather this week and, to my kids’ delight, had a couple extra days of no school!  So we’ve been lounging around in our PJs and kicking back.  That has inspired me to share this ATC Journal card I created – the image is Swings ‘n Slides Snuggles from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored this one using Prismacolor Pencils. I didn’t have any papers to help me coordinate the colors so I’m not so sure of what I came up with.  That’s gotta happen every once in a while, I suppose!  Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy it and thanks for visiting.
