Celeste Amberglow Sweet Teacher

Welcome back!  I have a left over project that I never showed here from Valentine’s day.  This project uses Celeste Amberglow Sweet Teacher from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and was actually a teacher gift.

There is a new challenge opening up at LMMS Challenges.  It’s anything goes so head on over and link up your favorite project this week.  You could even have a chance at being part of the Customer Appreciation Day and receive a free image to work with.  You know you want to!

This card doesn’t open the traditional way and from the looks just has a front and back.  This is the back which shows the lyrics to the song that it’s going to play.

The bottom of the card opens up and rivals two chocolate characters that dance and sing.  This internal part of the card was taken from a Hallmark card.  I dissected it then rebuilt my card around it.  This revamped card is smaller than the original one and is about 6×6.25 inches.

Check I out, here’s the card in action … my daughter introduces it and then shows the dancing and signing characters inside.  Enjoy!

Swings ‘n Slides Fairy

Here’s Swings ‘n Slides Fairy from Little Miss Muffet Stamps that I used on this project. I also used this one for a step-by-step tutorial, which I added below so you can pin or bookmark it if you’d like.

The Snowflakes Chipboard are from Make it Crafty and are always fun to add to a project.  I tried to color these white with the Faber-Castell Gelatos Double Scoop stick but that stuff smeared and got all over.  I don’t know what that is actually used for but not what I was expecting.

Here’s the side-by-side that you can see the colored version and non-colored version. I stamped it in gray and then I was able to change the eye a little so I could add more color.  This also shows the fur vest and shoes, which has a how-to down below.

Swings ‘n Slides Froggy

I hardly get a chance to color anymore so I enjoy what time I have when I can.  This little girl is Swings ‘n Slides Froggy from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  The paper is from My Favorite Things and I did a little swing around the edges.  Then I used the last of my wood stars to embellish and make a quick simple card.  Hope you are having a TOAD-ally awesome weekend!

I’d like to share this into the following challenges . . .

Clover Dancing with Dragonflies

Summer is always busy for me around here as I find fun activities to do with the kids.  Plus there is also the extra time that we have to go camping or on road trips.  Yeah!  However, even with all that going on, I’m thrilled that I was able to create something today.

This is Clover Dancing with Dragonflies from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I also used a Bright Side of Life chipboard sentiment from Make it Crafty.  I always start thinking of the Life of Brian when I read this and no doubt, start singing it too.  LOL

I’d like to show this into the following challenges . . .

Broasca’s Birthday

Today we’re introducing some new stamps at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I had the pleasure of coloring up the Broasca’s Birthday rubber stamp.  I think one day I’ll combine her with Borasca the Flog and create a lovely scene with them together.

In addition to new stamps, I will now be offering Raley’s Confectioneries handmade rock candies.  These are so yummy!  You can choose from Anise, Root Beer, Nectar and a Citrus Mix.

Those added were my top most favorite colors and also so happened to be my family’s favorites too.  Grab a bag with your next stamp order for a sweet combination.

I’d like to share this project in the following challenges:

Dexter Ice Cream

Little Miss Muffet Stamps is sponsoring the challenge today at Cards und More and I thought I’d join along with a project of my own.  The theme is “Christmas” and I wanted to share a tag I created using the Cutters Baggie and Tag die.
Here’s my latest project using Dexter Ice Cream from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  Dexter was colored with my Marvy Le Plume markers.  I had actually colored Dexter long before but went over a couple areas so I could use it on this project.  The ice cream and hat were more of a pink but I wanted a red.  This is one of those times that the alcohol markers come in handy.  I grabbed a red Copic marker that I liked and lightly colored over those areas until it turned red.  Simple!
