Swings ‘n Slides Little Sprout

Opsidaisies!  I just scheduled the wrong post for today – not that this post was on time, so I wasn’t worried about that.  No worries, that’s life and for those who saw what wasn’t suppose to be posted, you got a little sneak peek at an upcoming challenge.  (o.0)  Lucky you!  SO what was suppose to be posted?  That would be this card and one of the New Releases at Little Miss Muffet Stamps today!  There are four new summer digis that are now available and you can see inspiration for them all at the LMMS blog.

The image I used is Swings ‘n Slides Little Sprout drawn by Pollycraft and available in digital form in the Little Miss Muffet Store.  I honestly couldn’t decide which of the four images I wanted to color but when I stumbled across a small flower punch, I knew I wanted to pick this one.

All the other accessories and papers were grabbed at random – it’s amazing what you can find when you reorganize your stash!  Now the task will be to *remember* where all the new spots.  LOL

Sonny Honeycloud For You

Little Miss Muffet Stamps is still continuing on with the Super Saturday event where we introduce the freebie for the day and the spotlighted image for the week!  The spotlighted image is Angel Wings and is on sale this week so be sure to pick up this versatile rubber stamp!  It’s great for all types of projects on their own or combined with other images, such as I have done here…

The images I’ve used on my project today are Angel Wings and Sonny Honeycloud For You, both are rubber stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I stamped them in London Fog grey and cut them out and placed them on my card with pop up foam dots.  The girl has two layers of foam dots so she sticks out a little more than the wings for a slightly 3D effect.

These wings have been fun to use and I think they’re the right size to use on many of the characters.  And the girl is an all around stamp that can be used for all occasions – even for a pick-me-up card.  😀  These two stamps plus the freebie for today can be found in the LMMS Store and more inspiration can be found over at the LMMS Store Blog!

Clover I Believe

I believe it’s time for another challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!  This one was postponed for a week while I setup a few thing in the new stop.  However, the theme is worth waiting for … “Away with the Fairies!”  It’s always such a fun theme and your faries don’t even have to have any wings on them.  😀

For this project I’ve used Clover I Believe rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  It’s a design by Pollycraft and was such a fun one to color!  I had just a few scraps of my Christmas papers out and decided to go with non-traditional colors… I could have gone with a more Christmas feel to it but I was lucky to find papers that were void of the holidays – which makes for a great summer card.

Thanks for coming by today and I hope you get to a chance to visit the LMMS blog for more inspiration and to enter this challenge.  Have a great week!

Clover Dancing with Dragonflies

I’m still working in the background trying to convert all the products into the new store but I wanted to take a break and show off one of the cards I created this month.  I think it’s the colors, but it’s one of my favorites so I took lots of pictures!  😀

The products I used from Little Miss Muffet Stamps are Clover Dancing with Dragonflies rubber stamps and Birds on a Wire metal die.  There’s lots of other things as well and I’m even using up some of my white resin flowers that I like to stash away.

I colored the image to match the paper but also wanted to bring out some yellows.  I was tempted to color the mushroom red and it took all my concentration to remember not to.  LOL  Don’t get me wrong, the traditional red mushroom is adorable, but also wanted to try something different.  As a final touch, I added white dots on the wings with the White Gel pen.

Celeste Amberglow Cooking Up Some Love

We have a Sunday Spotlight today at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and we’re spotlighting Celeste Amberglow Cooking Up Some Love!  She’s such an adorable and versatile image and one you’ll want to pick up for your own collection – she’s at 30% off today!!  Whohoo!  😀  I had so much fun creating my card with her and so did some other Little Misses so make sure to check them out at the LMMS Blog!

For my project I used (of course) Celeste Amberglow Cookin’ Up Some Love plus the little piggy from Tea Party Friends #1 to go along with her.  Both are from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, the first one was drawn by Pollycraft and the second one was drawn by me.  ;D

I stamped these two in brown inks and colored them with bright colors.  I wanted something cheery and also to use those colors I never get around to using.  😀  I hope she is baking me a Lava Molton Cake because I could use some about now!! LOL  Plus that’s got to be part of my soft-foods diet this week, right?  Yumm!

SS Bump!

Here’s another project from the fun Carnival release last week… this one uses Bump!  I remember driving the bumper cars when I was young and then again when I was a little older.  It was so much fun the first time!  I think when we’re kids we’re made out of springs and just bound right back from anything.  LOL

The images I used are Swings ‘n Slides Bump! and Swings ‘n Slides Sentiments #1 and Swings ‘n Slides Sentiments #2, all from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and drawn by Pollycraft.  I have a goal to create something with all those carnival images – I just love them so much and it gives me an opportunity to use bright and cheery colors!

One of the background papers I used is a crossword puzzle … so I couldn’t resit getting my pencil out and circling a few words that were related to boys.  😀  I was surprised I didn’t find very many!  Maybe you’ll spot a few more and I can circle them.  He he he

Today is also Friday Freebie at Little Miss Muffet Stamps so head on over there and find a few images to play around with.  😀  Thanks for coming by today!
