Polka Dot Pals Elisa

We have a new challenge opening up at Little Miss Muffet Challenges and the theme is Anything Goes.  I’v used Polka Dot Pals Elisa from LMMS and gave her a Valentine theme.  I also added some glitter and bows to the image.  The card uses various red embellishments that I have left over.  This is the original artwork of this image before it was digitized.  The papers are just sketch so I colored as quickly as possible without letting it bleed into the paper too much.

Thanks for stopping by and take a moment to enter in your latest project into our challenge and show if off a bit . . .  Challenge #132 – “Anything Goes

Polka Dot Pals Starbright

Here’s a quick project I created using the original artwork for Polka Dot Pals Starbright and the Star and Moon Background stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  The paper was just scrap so I had to color quickly but enjoyed adding a bunch of colors.  The background was created using with a blue felt tip marker and just some doodling.

You can only tell on the side view, but the smiley star and girl were added with foam dots. Then I added some glitter glue and highlights with a white gel pen.  Shine bright!

Polka Dot Pals Neva

Happy New Year!  I already know this is going to be a long night for me as I stay up with my kids for the new year.  Last year was bliss – we were out camping so I set all the clocks forward two hours.  He he he.  But they overheard me telling their dad about it a couple days later.  I was caught!  So this year, they are already making sure that all the clocks are set correctly and are determined to watch the ball drop.  LOL.

I wanted to share a card I created using the Add-on Faces from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  These are so fun to use and they work on all the Polka Dot Pals.  Also available in both rubber and digital.  Bonus!

Polka Dot Pals Lottie

I’m here with some LMMS inspiration and a card I created using some of the colored images I have stacked up.  I’m getting to the bottom of my pile and it feels good to finally use them all.

This project uses several stamps, Polka Dot Pals Lottie, Polka Dot Pals Add-on Faces and Daisy Rock.  PDP Lottie was colored with Marvy Le Plume markers and the Daisy Rock was colored using Copics.  The Howdy sentiment is from Make it Crafty and colored with yellow Liquid Pearls.

The rest of the card was kept simple.  I cut the image down to fit the standard size card and always like the look of part of the image “popping” out of the frame, such as these daises.  Hope you enjoyed this project and make sure you check out all the other projects from the Little Misses.  Cheers!

Polka Dot Pals Lottie

Little Miss Muffet Stamps is sponsoring Graph’it Challenges today and the theme is “Anything Goes.”  For my project I used Polka Dot Pals Lottie and changed her appearance a little with Creative Color Placement.

This was colored with Prismacolor Pencils on Balsa Wood.  I forgot what my original goal was for this girl but she ended up being a raccoon girl instead.  I had fun coloring with colors I don’t normally use, and in places I don’t normally put them.  The blue hair was good for the season and complemented the purple well.

Hope you enjoyed this project and pop on over to see all the other gorgeous creations from the Graph’it team.  Have a great weekend!

Polka Dot Pals Lottie

I’m joining in the challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps today, and we’re playing Bingo!  I went diagonally on the Bingo board and included decorative paper, a LMM stamp, and diecuts.

This is Polka Dot Pals Lottie that I colored after an image that Nicky had brought to the event. I loved the whimsical feel of her project and she stepped me through how to create that look on this stamp. She had taken a workshop from Megan K. Suarez Fine Art.  I think she turned out great, and that was all help to Nicky – thank you!
