I had a bit of time to put a card together using one of the images I had already colored last year. This one is Tress Dancing rubber stamp from Make it Crafty and I had a bit of fun coloring her a bit different. She so happens to fit in the crazy hair challenge going on at MiC right now too. Lucky me! Her color pallet was inspired by Carla and Stephanie and for the fun color combos they used back at the Texas Coloring Retreat. So much fun!

Rainbow Castle and Baby Unicorn
Tadah! Here’s that project I was so scared about – not so scary now. LOL I was hung up on the color of the rainbow but still having the unicorn stand out. Then I finally decided that the rainbow didn’t have to be a traditional ROYGBP range and went with a pink/purple one. This allowed me to color the unicorn to stand out. Goal accomplished!
The images I used are Rainbow Castle and Baby Unicorn rubber stamps by Make it Crafty. I first stamped the unicorn and then masked it before stamping the rainbow. I delved into my Valentine stash to create the card but also added some yellow to tie in with the unicorn and then some twine to tie the project. He he he Hope you enjoy!
Birthday Daisies
Gorgeous Flowers Blooming just for you! Happy New Year! We hope you have had a wonderful time over the holidays and wish you an amazing 2015!
Today we are excited to be sharing a new release of beautifully illustrated flower stamps from Make it Crafty. They are intricate and delicate with lots of detail and are the perfect choice for many occasions. These gorgeous new flowers are available in both digital and rubber and the rubber stamps also come with a hand written sentiment, which of course you could use between all the different flowers.
For my project I’ve used Birthday Daisies and created a page in my trading card journal. I first started with distress inks and tried to go for a watercolor look. However since my watercolor skills are about as good as my karate skills it went about as well as I expected. So I dragged out my Prismacolor pencils to save the image.
Jr. Hatter Laural
I have a special post to day for a special friend using spec… ok, well you get the point, it’s off the charts! LOL I wanted to wish Zoe a very Happy Birthday today!! (Today being Saturday Australian time.)
The images I’ve used are Jr. Hatter Laural from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and Whimsical Elements from Make it Crafty – the perfect combination. The chipboard bird is also from Make it Crafty. I used Prismacolor Pencils. The hat colors were inspired by Zoe’s coloring too – meaning the color choices of bright greens and blues and I’ve started to use more of those.
Surfer Dad
Cowabunga, dude! Signing on today to post a dude card celebrating someone’s birthday. Guy cards are rare because I enjoy coloring the frilly girlie images so much. 😀 But when this one came around, I knew I wanted to color that ironing board with something bright! This was an image that Zoe gave out as a freebie in her Make it Crafty Newsletter – thank you Zoe! Check out… Surfer Dad.
