It’s a big day over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps with a whole set of New Releases this week! There are a few Little Misses, an Animal Friend, and two adorable Sugar ‘n Spice Dolls that you don’t want to miss out on – perfect for snuggling and Valentines!! For my project I chose to use Macie and create a Christmas card. Again, this was actually one that I had made back in December, but shhhh… don’t tell the DT about that! LOL One of these days I’m going to run out of finished projects and will eventually have to start making some. But I think I have four more projects… aren’t I just lucky?! 😀

This Little Miss is in seventh heaven with her little turtle friend and I’m sure spends hours and hours of imaginary play! Her dress comes with and without the poinsette on the front so she is perfect for any occasion. Another Update: Finally on the better side of things and thank goodness for modern day medicine! Not only do I feel better, they also rename “The Death Rattle” to so something less scary such as “crackling.” Now if only the flu had been removed before I came home. 😀 Alas, one thing after another.

Update: I’ve come down with a sudden case of pneumonia and will return when feeling better. In the mean time, have a Happy New Year!

My daughter also had fun coloring Saffron! We both used pencils on kraft paper.

For my card I used Sarah from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and created a Christmas Eve scene using By the Window from Make it Crafty (plus a few of those chippies too). The rest of the card was kept simple but I had fun adding a charm embellishment in the corner. Lucky for me it was a stocking… perfect for the theme I was going for.

I’ve got another surprise for you today and one that I’ve been working on a little bit each week. I made this journal page using Welcome to a Sweet Christmas by Magnolia and a sneak peek of Saffron from Little Miss Muffet Stamps!

I realized after this project was finished that I never had a plan when I started. I first had Saffron colored and ready for a winter scene … and lucky for me I found the Magnolia door! I don’t know why I colored it black and white but I think it turned out great – the contrast between the two images is perfect.

Here’s a close up of Saffron which is going to be a freebie over on the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog coming up soon! You don’t want to miss out on her so keep and eye out for that to happen. But I’ll give you a hint… all the fun will start with the next LMMS Challenge. ;D

Some other fun items on the page are first, the poinsettia flowers I picked up at the craft store today. I *almost* wish I hadn’t because now I need to go back for some more! LOL Lastly, there are some gems and at the top corner is a chippie from Make it Crafty. Hope you’ve enjoyed it and Happy Holidays! 😀

Welcome to another challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and this time our theme is Buttons & Ribbon. I took this opportunity to create a boys card as I am plum out of those! I’ve seen meters on other blogs that count down how many holiday cards have been met and I should find one and use it for by cards… so this would be one down and only 24 more to go!! Not bad… that would be two a month.

For my card I used Summer Monkey from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. Then for the ribbon I used some burlap ribbon I had in the cupboard and lastly the buttons are a mixture of buttons and brads made out of corduroy; both are great for adding texture to the card. The rest of the card was kept simple and I was lucky to find some colorful, yet suitable, decorative paper for the theme. Thanks for stopping by. ;D
