Bailey

I have some exciting news to share today over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps…. I have released six of the most popular digi images into rubbah!!  So today we’re previewing images from both digi and rubber forms and celebrating this release with a fabulous special too!  I’ll be out of town this weekend so any order placed between now and Monday get a free digi image from the Sugar & Spice Dolls line!  Plus there were some combo packs put up this week so be sure to check out the LMM Blog for the details and the What’s New section of the store!

For my project I used the *new* Bailey in rubber from Little Miss Muffet Stamps plus the two bunnies from Spring Whisper to create a little scene.  The sentiment is a sneak peak of what is to come next month so keep your eye out for that.  😀  Anyway, I empasized new for the Bailey image because I’ve flipped her left and added finger details instead of the mitten hand shapes that she has as a digi.  Tricky!  LOL

The layout for this card is one I found on Amy’s Blog (Picked Paper Designs) and loved how she incorporated all te different layers and embellishments so I had to give it a try.  I changed a few things based on my stash and this is how it turned out.  The papers I used are My Mind’s Eye Mabel paper pad and it looks like I have one or two more cards I can make with it so you’ll be seeing this color combo soon.  😀

Thanks for coming by and make sure you visit the LMM Blog for all the release details and specials plus all the fabulous projects from the design team – they’ve done a spectaculor job with both digi and rubber images.  I just love what they make.  😀

Chives

Yep, I have another challenge for you today – this one at Little Miss Muffet Challenges!  The challenge over there is “Loads of Layers” which should come easy for most of you crafters out there – it’s almost like an anything goes challenge!  LOL  So get out your supplies and have some fun.  😀

For my project I used Chives from the Sugar ‘n Spice Dolls line and the Park Glen Door Diecut – both from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  The door is posted on foam dots so it pops out a little and the girl is on double foam dots and pops out that much more.  I’m having so much fun with this door diecut if you haven’t noticed AND I keep coming up with loads of ideas that I want to try out!  The utlimate idea being the one that Zoe did – I hope to try something like that out this weekend.  (Wish me luck!)

If you get a chance to visit the LMM Challenge blog there are some fantastic examples posted from the design team that are a must see!  Plus with the new Pollycraft images it’s been quite exciting around there this month.  😀  I have some great news for this summer and you don’t want to miss out on any of it so keep an eye out!  (hint, hint)

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Luna Bitterfrost Birthdays Rock

It’s the second day of releases at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and our day to show off the new Pollycraft stamps now available through LMMS!!  I have invited Paula to illustrate for me and I’m excited that she said yes – it was a grand day!  😀  There are twelve stamps in the store today and two of them are brand new – so be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge & Release Blog for inspiration and then the LMM Store for some shopping.  😀

For my project today I used Luna Bitterfrost Birthdays Rock and the new Park Glen Door Diecut (with the included screen mesh) both from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  Then the sentiment is a Kid’s Quote from Inkadinkadoo.

This is a short post because I’m actually out on vacation and my internet connection is practiacally useless!  LOL  However, there is a sale goingon while I’m away and you can read about those details HERE on the challenge & release blog.  Thanks for coming by!

Diane & Cardine

Hello, hello, hello!  I should be in bed getting my beauty sleep for tomorrow’s long drive, however, I couldn’t resit taking a moment to show off some new stamps I added to Little Miss Muffet Stamps!!!  There are 17 new images that will be previewed today and tomorrow plus some very exciting news – head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge & Release Blog to catch up on all the details!

For this project I used Diane from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and the sentiment is from Stampabilities; and we’re also showing off more samples using the Park Glen Door Diecut from Little Miss Muffet Stamps!  I chose to use the screen mesh that comes with the die on this project.  I went crazy with the diecuts and also forced myself to use the blue paper on my desk!

This next project is actually one my daughter made and uses the new fairie, Cadrian, also from Little Miss Muffet Stamps!  She was so proud of her creation today and even decorated the inside full of gems, stickers and a sweat little note to Grandma and Grandpa.  😀  Everytime she makes something she always asks if it’s as pretty as mine then she’ll put it up next to may latest creation and compare the two – today, she FINALLY said it was just as cute!!  LOL

So what’s all this exciting news I hinted towards?  Well, I’m excited to say that Paula from Pollycraft will now be drawing images for Little Miss Muffet Stamps!!  Whohoo!!  I selected a few of my favorite characters to start with and tomorrow we’ll be previewing them all – plus there are TWO NEW stamps that you don’t want to miss out on.  😀  I made a card with one of the new ones and will show it off tomorow.  Until, hope you have a great day!

La Promenade au Jardin & Park Glen Door Diecut

Happy Monday everyone!  😀  This is our first week of Summer break and the kids have off from school so instead of it being a gruesome dreary Monday, I’m actually pretty excited.  LOL  Plus I have two projects to show off today – both of them use the new Park Glen Door Diecut that I added to the store last week.  You’ve had a couple other samples over the weekend and now here are a few more ideas on how versatile this door is.  Check them out…

This first project uses the Park Glen Door Diecut plus La Promenade au Jardin (in digi format) from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I was going for a cozy vintage cottage feel and created something that reminded me of  B&B I stayed at once.  The hostess was a dear old lady and so sweet.  😀  I hope I have the chance to go back for a visit and stay with her again.

La Promenade au Jardin is available now only in rubber and she’s also included as part of a combo package for a reduced price.  She’s a dream to color up and probably one of my favorites from that release.  In the background I’ve used embellishments from Stampin’ Up and the large brad says “Genuine * Genuine” – they’ve been fun to use and I wish I had an endless supply so I wouldn’t have to hoard them all.  LOL

The Park Glen Door Diecut comes with two sheet of screen mesh and I’ve used one of this project here to create a screen door.  Then I used all the hardware bits that are on the diecut which include the three door hinges, door knob and key plate plus the large key.  I also used the center circle of the large key to place as a spacer in between the door knob and key plate – it was the perfect size and popped out the door knob for more interest.  I love coincidences like that!

I’d like to enter that card into the following challenges:

This next project also uses the Park Glen Door Diecut but instead of a stamp I used decorative paper and coordinating stickers to create this fun winter scene – plus it always helps to create a Christmas card here and there to help build up the stock pile!  However, for some reason many of my holiday cards represent snow – why is that?  I think it’s because I grew up in a climate that had lovely white winters but since I’ve moved to Texas we have maybe one day of snow a year and we’re lucky if it lasts all day.  Strange – at least for me it is but I’ll still enjoy the occasional snow card.

For this door, I’ve used the three door hinges but left everything else off and added a holly wreath at the top.  This would be like in the kitchen looking out the backdoor at the new snowman the kids have created so the door handle would be the other side if this was a push door.  😀  Yea, that sounds like a good reason!  LOL  But the man excuse was I didn’t want to cover the snowman’s face.  He he he.

Thanks for stopping by!  Muah!  And don’t miss out on the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog today to see more inspiration using this door plus a few Anything Goes projects!!
I’d like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Paprika

It’s another challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!!  I set the theme to one of my favorites today which is “Rainbows, Clouds or Wings” and I decided to use clouds on my project.  The real reason is I found this fantastic idea from Ellen Hutson who created a gorgeous card using a clear plastic sheet and a bunch of liquid dots!  It was incredible and I wanted to give it a try… so here’s my attempt.

The background was created with Crystal Effects and dotting in a regular patterns.  I placed a vellum sheet on top of my grid paper pad and dotted every other intersection to create the pattern.  The ideas originally was to use a clear plastic sheet but I couldn’t find mine and settled for the vellum… however, I must confess that the clear acetate looks much better!  She also used a heart shape to cut into a cloud and I love that idea too!

The image is Paprika, which is a rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, and I went for non-yellow themed raincoats.  Don’t get me wrong, I love yellow raincoats but I always try to color my images differently each time.  It keeps me motivated to try new things because I can easily get stuck in a rut.

This is one of those cards that is better felt than seen because each of the rain drops pops out a little and creates a nice texture.  Then adding the felt clouds keep your fingers interested.  LOL

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Great Impressions Challenge #3 – Anything Goes

Lastly, I have some exciting news to share – Little Miss Muffet Stamps is getting into diecuts!  I’ve posted the first one today and will be taking pre-orders – they’ll ship as early as next Wednesday!  Check it out…

Diecuts - Park Glen Door

You’re going to love it – I’ll have projects showcasing the diecut as early as this weekend too.  😀
