Sonny Honeycloud My Buddy

For my project today I’ve used Sonny Honeycloud My Buddy rubber stamp and the new Garden Border digital stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I wanted to create a simple background that would help me fill out the white paper I stamped on yet allow for a vibrant colors to be added. So the Garden Border is what I came up with.

These are the Copic markers I used on Sonny Honeycloud My Buddy and Garden Border:
YG97, 91, 63, 67, 23, 21
E31, 35, 37
E37, 21, 49, C3, 1, T7, 9
R02, E04
E49, 47, 44
YG95, 93, 91
YR23, 24, 30, 31
BG90, 72, 57
BG11, 10, 72
BV23, 0

To combine the digital and rubber stamps, I would print out the background to size in a very light gray.  Then I could stamp the rubber stamp directly over it and coloring would hide the light gray background. The fence would be colored with a darker color and on mine I also used a white gel pen.

Theodore’s Birthday

Here’s an inspirational project for this week. On this project I’ve used Theodore’s Birthday rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I had colored this image before (see it HERE) so I wanted to go with something different – to do that I used a different color pallet and colored the words differently. It’s so fun to see how a stamp can be changed by just using different colors. I think this will work well for a baby card too.

These are the Copic markers I used on Theodore’s Birthday:

T1, 3, 5, 7
YG63, G43, 20

Theodore’s Shamrocks

I know it was just a couple days ago that I posted a project using this same stamp but I was compelled to use it again. This is actually the label from the Theodore’s Shamrocks rubber stamp package from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. As I was opening up the package, I could toss it out and thought it would make an excellent little note card.

I fussy cut around the image and added some white dots with the gel pen. Then grabbed some coordinating paper and accessories and quickly put this together. I don’t open new packages very often (because I just order an extra stamp for myself before packaging) but if I did, then I’d certainly do this more often. It’s like receiving a bonus!  😀

Theodore’s Shamrocks

I’m pretending to be super-early for next year’s St. Patrick’s day instead of admitting that I was late again. LOL But I was in the mood for green and this stamp fit the bill. This is Theodore’s Shamrocks rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  The background is Word Search Birthday Sentiments digital stamp also from Little Miss Muffet Stamps which was colored with Distress inks.

A new link challenge has opened up at Little Miss Muffet Challenges too. Come on over to add one of your projects from this week. We are saying farewell to a few guests and adding a few more for the next term.

Claudia’s Tutu

I’ve reached back into my scraps of papers and pulled out a few odds and ends to make this card. I have a couple paper pads that have only a few papers left so I try to use them up.  For this project, I’ve used Claudia’s Tutu from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I went with a green outfit instead of pink or purple to help with the shabby chic feels on the card.  I then distressed the edges of the paper, sewed them and added some lacy elements and sparkling gems.

Here are the Copic markers I used on Claudia’s Tutu:

Snail Mail

I was inspired by the way Annabel colored Belated Birthday Snails with all the texture that I knew I had to try.  So I picked up Snail Mail rubber stamp by Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  However, instead of using pencils, I gave it a go with markers so my details isn’t as controlled.  But hay, he turned out okie dokie in my book.

I didn’t really have a good sentiment that I liked so I used the background decorative paper and wrote in my own. It’s a word search paper and I used a black pen to write in my sentiment and blue to circle it.  After all… I found it!
