Sunbonnet Fireman Cat in a Tree

There is a new LMMS Challenge starting today and it’s our favorite theme… Anything Goes!  This gave me the chance to color an image that’s been on my list since it’s release last year.

This is Sunbonnet Fireman Cat in a Tree rubber stamp available at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I placed it on a smaller card so I could mail it easy then tried to keep all the embellishments on the flat side.  Sometimes that’s hard for me to remember until I place the card in an envelop and send it off.  LOL  I stamped it with gray and then used bright colors that would hopefully be appealing to a boy.  However, my daughters have a firefighter’s costume that they wear all the time – there is something about the axe that they enjoy.  Bang, crash, thunk on just about everything… the table, the chair, etc.

Hope you have a chance to play along in the Anything Goes Challenge and share us what you’ve been working on lately.  Thank you for coming by and have a wonderful week!

Grandpa’s Wrinkles

I’ve been on a roll this month and have managed to create more projects then the last couple months combined – it’s been great!  So today, I’m excited to share another one of those… this one is using Grandpa’s Wrinkles rubber stamp available at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I just love this guy and his sentiments!  LOL

I also shared this on the LMMS Challenge blog where you’ll find lots of new information regarding Week 3 of the Birthday Release Celebration.  If you get a chance… click on over there or pop into the FB Group for the update.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Grandpa’s Rocker

Check it out – I just posted all the details for Week 2 of our Birthday Release Party!  This is one of the stamps that is being released this week and I couldn’t wait to use it.

For this project I’ve used Grandpa’s Rocker rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I love this little guy… er, I mean old guy.  Plus you’ll also spot the Cupcake & Books stamp also from LMMS (which is currently a freebie).    Both of these can be used in the Birthday Release Challenge – just sayin’.  😀

The project turned out better than I had thought and I am surprisingly happy about it!  The papers I used are Paris & Co by My Mind’s Eye and Little Boy Blue from Crate Paper.  I’ve started to mix the paper stacks and sometimes I get lucky.  See that ticket stub in there?  I’ve been hanging onto it for years and I’m so happy to get rid of it finally!  LOL  Thanks for coming by today and have a great weekend!

Spencer Loves Cake

Spencer Loves Cake and this is a big cupcake!  This is a new rubber stamp available at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I’ve created this project for the Sketch Challenge that just opened up for today.  I rotated the sketch 90 degrees then swapped out the rectangle for a circle.  The dragonflies are chippies from Make it Crafty and I covered them with Stickles.  The colors were taken from the papers which was Cold Avocado Soup from Jillibean Soup.

I also used the little cupcakes from the Cupcakes & Books, also from LMMS, and is currently a freebie during the release.  This is a perfect stamp to add to any project – plus it gives you the bonus of adding it into the Birthday Release Challenge too.

Swings ‘n Slides Snuggles

We’ve had some unusual weather this week and, to my kids’ delight, had a couple extra days of no school!  So we’ve been lounging around in our PJs and kicking back.  That has inspired me to share this ATC Journal card I created – the image is Swings ‘n Slides Snuggles from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored this one using Prismacolor Pencils. I didn’t have any papers to help me coordinate the colors so I’m not so sure of what I came up with.  That’s gotta happen every once in a while, I suppose!  Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy it and thanks for visiting.

Skelekinz Love

It’s here… and it’s nearly here!  Today is Friday the 13th and tomorrow is Valentine’s day – I thought that was such a fun combination to work with that I created this card!  Oh’yeah!  On this card I used Skelekinz Love rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored her in sweet Valentine colors and went with a more normal look than my previous attempt with the same stamp.  I love this one so much better – I feel redeemed!  LOL  I also used the Birds on a Wire metal die from Little Miss Muffet Stamps in the background.  I hope you you’ve been inspired and thanks for dropping by today.  😀
