Sweet Val

This is my sweet valentine card that I’ve made for the new release blog post today and I really enjoyed drawing and coloring this elephant!  It’s fun to be able to color them in all the different colors too.  😀  There is a lot of NEWS at LMMS that you don’t want to miss out on – changes, giveaways, and new releases to name the.  😀

This is Sweet Val from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. This is the original artwork which I had to modify a little from the store version.  After I had this all inked up, someone pointed out that having the A dropped off of SODA wasn’t a good idea.  Oops!  I had a good chuckle at the mistake and then fixed it digitally.

The layout was inspired by some of Alice’s {Little} Wonderland work.  I purchased some border dies last week and was able to use one of them.  That’s always a nice feeling instead of having the new stuff stockpile.

Val Gives

I’m excited to join in with the Pinkies over at the In The Pink Challenge this week.  The theme is “With Love” and of course we need to use lots of pink!  I can do that.  😀

The stamp I used is Val Gives and is one of the new releases from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  This little elephant actually have a little giraffe friend that she is looking at.  However, I colored in the eyes white then changed it so she was looking up instead.

This challenge was sponsored by Little Miss Muffet Stamps – head on over and check out their creations then create a pink creation of your own.  😀

Edgar Loves

This is one of the new stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps that was released today and we’re going to showcase most of them next week.  However, I couldn’t resit coloring this one right away!  This is the original artwork for Edgar Loves

I had lots of fun coloring the fur.  I didn’t know what I was doing at first but then all the tufts started to take shape.  I’ll have to try it again on another image to see if I can duplicate it.  LOL.

The challenge at LMMS is Anything Goes.  It’s fortnightly and we’d love to see something you create!  Pop on over and upload something to share.  😀

The layout of this card was copied from Alice’s {Little} Wonderland.  She has lots of excellent cards and I’ve enjoyed pursuing her site – very inspiring!

Jr. Hatters Starlight

This is the original artwork for Jr. Hatters Starlight from LMMS, which I colored with my Copic markers.  I was a little more patient with this one and took my time with the hair and other areas to build up the layers.  I just had to wait for the markers to dry before added the next layer.  But I think I turned out well and I used her on a card.  Enjoy!

Rhylie

I was able to get Rhylie onto a card right away and took photos of it today.  The sketch was inspired by Alice’s monster card.  She has a great style and I love the simplicity of her designs.

Rhylie is my character I created to use with the Mouse Guard RPG.  She’s just a tenderpaw but she has some attitude to go with it.  He he he
