Lovebirds with Flower

I drew these lovebirds thinking about the small, everyday moments that make love feel big. The quiet glances. The shared routines. The feeling of a warm hug, again and again.

This is Lovebirds with Flower and was first colored with Copic markers, building warmth and softness into the birds themselves. After that, I created the background using Arrtix acrylic paint pens and layering color and texture to give the piece a sense of depth and atmosphere.

If it speaks to you or reminds you of someone special, it’s available to bring into your space at Sproatmeyer Stamps.
No pressure – just a piece made with love, for love.

Cat with Yarn

New release time – from now until Saturday, use coupon code “NewYear” to receive 40% off your order.

This is Cat with Yarn, the latest digital stamp now available in the shop. It makes me smile every time! I may not have a cat, but my dog absolutely loves to sneak into my yarn bag and pull out the expensive merino, turning it into a joyful, tangled mess. If only she’d go for the cheaper cotton balls instead! That playful chaos was definitely part of the inspiration behind this stamp.

I’m also thrilled to be joined on this creative adventure by Annabel Haines from Cartway Cards, who is now part of my design team. She has always kept me inspired with her incredible talent using colored pencils and her eye for creative color placement. (I have many of her cards on my wall too.) Seeing my stamps through her artistry will be incredible!

This new chapter just keeps getting better, and I’m so excited to share it with you.

Duck with Balloon

Guess what?! I’m opening a shop again and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you!

You can now purchase my digital stamps online, starting with this cutie: Duck with Balloon. It’s joined by five other brand-new stamps, all hand-drawn by me. In this example, I colored the duck with Copic markers and turned it into a simple card to show just how fun and versatile these stamps are.

This feels like the start of a fresh, creative chapter, and I’d love for you to be part of it. Come check out the Sproatmeyer Stamps online shop at www.sproatmeyerstamps.com and join me on this new adventure!

Birth-Yay

Thank you to everyone and your welcoming back. I had worried that after so many years the crafting community changed so much that I’m practically starting over as a “newbie.” Although with the rate that technology is changing it feels like that anyway on the back end. But stay tuned – I have some exciting news to share! I’ll post as soon as I have it set up. 😉

I found the name of this stamp too – it is Birth-Yay from My Favorite Things. This was also colored many years ago and I all it needed was a card base. It’ll be a nice card to send out in the mail to someone special. I have one more to share using the same set.

Happy New Year

Bringing in the New Year with a card I made in December 2022. I don’t have any details on the card; not even the name of the stamp or the stamp company. (Edit: the stamp is Birth-Yay by My Favorite Things)I was a certain if I could log in to my website to post anything. I feel like I’ve practically forgotten everything. It’s been a solid 3 years since I have drawn, colored, or even made a card. I’m going to officially label that absence as the Black Hole Era. However, Time has passed, wounds have heeled and it is time to get back to crafting. I have some exciting new things to share, including a few crochet creations that I finished. So leave some loves and stay tuned.

Poof!

Poof – just like that, it’s Christmas! Happy Holidays everyone and to a fresh New Years just around the corner. 😀 I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I managed to finish the pink Llamazing Llama that I’ve had sitting on my desk for over a week. He’s been colored and waiting for a background card to work on. Here she is… her soft plush coat is on it’s way to a crafty knitter looking for just the right color pink. Oh yeah!
