I found some origami paper of Mount Fuji at Daiso and thought it would be fun to use. So I came home and made a bookmark with Ai with Taiko Drum by Sister Stamps. I actually liked how it turned out so this might be the one I keep this year.

Girlfriends Quilt
I created this card using the fun stamp Girlfriends Quilt from Art Impressions. My Mum is a quilter so naturally this one fell into her cart when we saw it on sale at Hobby Lobby. We then colored it together and this is my version. Now we’re thinking about getting another girlfriend stamp… hmmm, which one?
Penguinish Monster
I don’t really have a good name for this monster but it seems to look like a penguin monster. This is another monster from the Edward’s Crochet Imaginarium by Kerry Lord crochet pattern book.
The yarn is baby blanket yarn so it’s really soft but it was bulky to work with. The hook size was recommended as M but I used a L – but even then it was too large so I removed about a dozen rows from the standard body form. Turned out great and A+ approved by my kids.

Autumn Happiness
Happy Valentines day, early! I have a fun project to share today using Autumn Happiness which I converted from an autumn theme to a Valentine theme. I did this by stamping the image in light pink so I could color over the leaves and change the shape. I also added a few Wee accessory stamps in light gray – which is also easy to color over.
I first stamped Autumn Happiness in light pink. Then in light gray, I stamped the two accessory Wee stamps which came as a gift for placing an order. They were so cute, I wanted to add them to something and this guy’s tail was a perfect perch. From this point, I started to color the leaves in heart shapes.
After I colored some hearts over the larger leaves, then I colored the rest by filling it in with smaller leaves. Lastly, I added some white accents and started to color the rest of the image. I even added a little creative color placement on the tail and carried the white stripe around from his belly.
Sweet Smiles
For this project I’ve used Sweet Smiles from Lawn Fawn. For some reason, I had a card base with half a scalloped circle punched out of the corner. I wasn’t sure why I did that but I started to think about how I could use it. I’ve seen the “bite” cards in the past and thought this would be a perfect opportunity. It took me a couple tries to figure it out, especially to find a suitable stamp, but this is the end result.
