For this project I used Party Pandas from Stampin’ Up and followed a layout by Michelle Last. I changed a few things and added the honeycomb balloon. The hats were from the Party Animals decorative paper so I colored them and the envelop to match. Enjoy!

Stained Glass Sunrise
Come link up one of your projects this week in the Anything Goes challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps – you’ll have a chance to win a $10.00 gift card and if your project is features, then you’ll get even more bonuses!
For my project today, I’ve used Stained Glass Sunrise from Little Miss Muffet Stamps which is one of the new releases today. I’ve used a sentiment but I think it would look fantastic with a character too … or even on it’s own. To fit the size card I was using, I cut off the top then used part of it for the corners.
Out of This World
I couldn’t resist the glow in the dark embossing powder from Lawn Fawn’s release this month and added a couple goodies to go along with it. Besides, I’ve been trying to figure out these backgrounds too and I want to thank Jen (Jennifrann) for giving me a link to a watercolor outer space background tutorial. I originally thought the embossing powder would be clear when heat set but it has that typical green tint. Once I figured that out, I was able to incorporate it into the design of the card. No biggie.
Birthday Memories – Raccoon
I’ve used the Birthday Memories designer series papers from Stampin’ Up! to create this project and followed a card layout by Kimberly Van Diepen. I also used some Make it Crafty chipboard embellishments for the sentiment and a couple gems for sparkle. Instead of using the chef, I used the raccoon from the paper series and centered it over the sentiment. I like the orange in this one.
Paper Quilting
So I haven’t been able to finish my real quilt but I was able to finish this paper quilt and feel almost as good about. This one was so much fun and I didn’t think it needed any sentiment or focal image. I did, however, add a lace doily and popped it up on foam for some dimension. I made this one along with the one from a couple days ago so they use the same papers. It was easy to cut out two at the same time. The tutorial is by Lawn Fawn and is “How to make a Paper Quilt.” Enjoy!
Bunny Found One
Welcome to Day 3 of the Whimsy Stamps March release week countdown. We have some more adorable images to share with you today, ones that are perfect for spring and Easter. Today I have a project that shows Bunny Found One and Farmhouse Shiplap Background.
Although, it’s difficult to see the background stamp – I thought the color I chose would show up more then I ended up covering most of that paper anyway. I goofed when I stamped the Bunny Found One and didn’t press evenly to get a full impression so that’s why the daffodil flower is missing – but waste not want not and I strategically placed a gem and movement lines where it showed up the most. Lost of mistakes but I pressed on and you wouldn’t have really noticed if I didn’t spill the beans.
I then colored it using my Prismacolor pencils on soft Balsa wood. I colored it in rainbow colors similar to the Ty plush toys that we have so many of around the house. Then since the bunny was so colorful, I changed the egg to be a chocolate egg. The sentiment is Make it Crafty a chipboard embellishment.
